I previously had a one-star review up after we encountered some service issues, but I'm updating to five stars because they sent Memphis out to make things right. MEMPHIS IS AMAZING. I really appreciate when someone can *very plainly* walk through what the issue is, what didn't happen, what SHOULD have happened, and how they're going to fix it - and they do just that. This is exactly what Memphis did AND they did it in far less time than expected. I hope this company recognizes what an absolute GEM of an employee Memphis is - because they deserve a raise (and more). They're the type of employee that makes customers stick with a company above all others, and that's really rare these days. Absolute superstar. If we have issues again - and I hope we don't - I will absolutely be requesting Memphis to take care of things.

***Edited*** About two hours after lodging my complaint with Brownies directly, I received a call from Brian Hurst, Plumbing Director. Brian saw the situation, recognized that had I been notified at the time of the issue, I would have not incurred the additional expenses, and refunded the additional charges for my second pump. That's the way to resolve a customer service issue. I'll keep my business with Brownies due to their prompt and satisfactory resolution to my issue. [Original Review] I was a customer of Brownies Septic for over 10 years. Always excellent service. This is my first experience with Brownies since being acquired by Wind River, and the service has been very poor. I had waste removal service at my home May 2 and received an email THIRTY DAYS LATER (June 2), advising me that my septic flow-pump was non-operational and if I would like to schedule a replacement. In the few days between scheduling the appointment and the technician's arrival, my septic system overflowed and began pushing waste back into the showers in my home. The technician could not replace the pump while the tank was full, so he offered to empty the waste into my yard. I politely declined his offer to deposit 1000 gallons of human waste in my back yard. I was surprised he would even suggest it. Thus, another waste removal was required, and the amount I was billed for the 2nd waste removal (which was necessary because the pump was inoperative for 4 weeks before I was notified) was more than the first one (which had not been emptied in 3 years) by $200.

I called your 4.6 star rated service but after 3-5 minutes of listening to recordings and choosing the different options, I was taken to the feedback recording! What is this? A joke??? UPDATE: Luckily they found my number. Alison at the office/corporate contacted me and was able to send Mat to my restaurant the following day. Mat is very knowledgeable about the building as he had serviced it many years before. I’m now confident that my crisis will be attended to in a timely manner. As well, Alison made several follow up communications to say that she’s looking into the phone issue. Hopefully it will be resolved for future customers. 5 stars to Alison & Mat. 4 stars for the overall experience.

Jean Guillaume did a great job prepping & pumping our Septic System yesterday 5/20/24. He worked efficiently and thorough, recovered the covers with dirt & grass, put our garden bed edging back in place nicely. He was personable & friendly, pleasure to deal with. I also like the detailed Service Report Work Order with cost breakdown & 6 pictures I received via email today. Thank You Jean for your 5-Star Service.

Eric Flowers was our tech from Brownies and I was so excited to see his smiling face pull up. He had been our tech 4 years ago and had that same upbeat, positive attitude. Seriously how do you stay so happy and energetic doing this job especially in this blistering heat but I will tell you it was not a fluke - he remembered our home from 4 years back and I remember him and his professional and incredible work ethic. When he was finished, he left our yard so immaculate, you would never believe he had to dig out the tank. If you call for an appt. at Brownies be sure to request Eric.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Jeff and Duane were awesome! They were able to come out the same day and within a short time of me calling. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They figured out the problem and resolved it quickly. They even found my septic tank, which I haven’t been able to find in the 5 years I’ve been in the home. They also made sure everything was running smoothly before they left. Over just great service.
