I would highly recommend this company! It’s a family run business that’s been around a long time. I enjoyed working with Mitch and the office staff on the dock design lift and permits. I felt like they were looking out for my interest and not just their own like many soflo contractors. As with any project you run into unforeseen problems and you can trust these guys to do it right!
Mitch’s son Kyle runs S E Custom Boat Lifts and if I could give them a 6 Star rating I would!!
The work looks acceptable but if your expecting a professional experience... Look elsewhere. It appears that they run multiple jobs inefficiently, running back and forth from one place to the other. It took more than 3 weeks to build a form, but now that the form has been used, the disassembled boards have been strewn about our yard for 2+ weeks, posing a hazard, not to mention a visual shambles. There has been little attempt to clean it up and move to the next stage of the project. So we are 3 months in to the project, and no estimate for completion. Our HOA has been on them and this is a big condo contract, so that should tell you how Qualmann values their clients.

The Ray Qualmann group recently completed a seawall redo, concrete dock and install of a new boatlift at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism, work, and end result. They were super competitively priced, no surprises, handled all of the permitting, managed the crews, and cleaned up after each day.
It is difficult in these parts to feel good about contractors, especially marine contractors. Kyle and the rest of the Ray Qualmann team are an oasis in a desert of untrustworthy or unreliable service providers. Highly recommended.

Kyle was outstanding!!
I initially chose another company that promised everything and delivered nothing except excuses. After 10 months of BS w SeaTech, I called Kyle.
(He answered my call at dinner on a Saturday night)
He delivered on his word. They took over the project on Monday morning & was completed in 2months. Qualmann even honored SeaTech’s quote,10 months old, after commodity & labor prices rose 20%!!!
Kyle and his crew were in constant communication w me about the progress of the job at all stages.
They build everything in-house and is a “Mom n Pop” business that I would HIGHLY recommend for any commercial or residential dock. They are the BEST!
An example of Above & Beyond: Qualmann even let me keep my boat & use their personal lift while they did my dock!!!!
I redid my entire seawall, dock n cap in concrete and could not be happier!!!
Call Qualmann immediately, do not waste your time with others

I am a 39 year resident of south Florida and a local business owner. I spent nearly a year planning my new concrete dock and seawall repair. I got bids from every local contractor, a total of five of them. Ray Qualmann gave me the best advise, a competitive bid and was responsive to all of my calls and emails. The finished project was beyond our expectations. I would not refer any other company for this type of project. Thanks to Mitch and the whole crew.
