We were looking for a way to create a shaded area within the cage around our lanai. Blinds & Designs suggested retractable shades attached to the cage, took the necessary measurements and installed the shades and they are giving us the shade we hoped for. They were able to do the install despite part of the area for installation overlooking our pool with not enough space for a ladder or step stool, but they were ingenious and did the install with no problem. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend them. See photos showing the shades down and also when retracted. You can’t even see them when they’re retracted.
One of several quotes we requested was from B&D. We felt they had the quality we wanted for the price, but not the lowest quote. We paid half down, with B&D storing for us when we were ready. They contacted us (amazing) several times to schedule when WE were ready for the install.
Tom arrived promptly and started work immediately. Install was professional and considerate of our property. Overall an outstanding experience, especially with installer and the support staff. Highly recommend these guys.

Beautiful but make sure they count all of your windows. They gave us an entire quote for our house and then after the fact forgot a window in our dining room for our condo.
To make it right, Brian the owner gave us an invoice charging full price for the window they missed.
His talking point is how long they’ve been in business and you would think someone that’s been in business over 30 years would’ve given a customer who paid for the work the, window they missed at cost for their mistake.

Adam and I are still waiting for an email. Per our call Friday, I requested a quote be sent to me, as of an min ago, neither myself or my husband have received an email.
My husband is on a steady decline from AML Leukemia and chronic graph vs host post bone marrow transplant. The only offer Brian suggested was giving us a discount when we purchase our NEXT home. I am the sole provider of a family of four with two tiny babies… When I got multiple quotes for Blinds for our condo it was for the entire home. That’s the point of getting quotes when you’re doing work on your home is to find a price point and maybe go off of reviews. When I explained to Bryan that the reason we went with them was based off of these reasons his response was, “do you always go with the cheapest option”?
No Bryan, but obviously price comes into play when you’re getting quotes. That’s the entire reason of getting a quote.
Adam is currently at Moffit getting his weekly treatments, but both of us are available to check our email, or a call if you would like.
Again we’re waiting for a fair resolution and not the full price of a window you forgot to count.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Blinds and Designs for the installation of plantation shutters in our home, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
Steve, the consultant who visited our home, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to discuss all of our design options, carefully considering our preferences and offering valuable suggestions. His meticulous measurements ensured that the shutters would fit perfectly in every window, and his expertise in recommending the best frame style was greatly appreciated.
