We contacted Meg from CT in the fall of 2019 to see what ideas she might have for a new home we were having built in the Sarasota area. We were impressed by her recommendations and sketches, and ended up working with her through much of the following year, both remotely and in-person. Meg's plan was all-encompassing, creative, detailed, and most importantly, captured our style preferences. It also incorporated certain items of furniture and art that we were bringing with us to FL. Also helpful was that the plan was initiated quickly, and significant progress had been made prior to our arrival. This was due in large part to Meg having an impressive network of trades and contractors who are highly skilled and reliable...and that Meg listens and is flexible and responsive. Without her, our home would not be as much "us" and comfortable as it is. In short, we are highly satisfied and would recommend Meg without reservation.

Meg is a complete professional, from our first call to final completion Meg and her team exceeded our expectations! We were building a new house and Meg helped us choose and fully implement everything from paint , wallpaper, fixtures, furniture , design suggestions…everything! She was prompt, on budget and the place is beautiful! We would never use anyone else !

Last year I decided to build a new home. It was a daunting task with numerous design decisions to be made along the way. After interviewing a number of design professionals, I was fortunate to find Meg Carson, principal of EMCY Interior Design. Meg, immediately understood my design goals and delivered an incredible full home design that brought my vision to life. We have worked together during the entire 12 month build and I have to say it has been a wonderful experience. Meg is intuitive, responsive and brings a fresh perspective to her work. I love my new home so much that I never want to leave. It is comfortable, functional and has a relaxed elegance that reflects my personal style. Trust me when I say Meg, is a one in a million!!!!!

We have worked with Meg Carson through our builder for about the past year. Meg has a great sense of style and has provided advice to us as we have made decisions on all aspects of our home from the design of the ceilings to outdoor color schemes, tile, granite, flooring and lighting. She is a great sounding board and we feel that she helps to push us to think outside our own little box when it comes to design. Meg has a great sense of what works well and what does not. She has been extremely responsive - typically answering a text message with a follow-up call when we have seen something that we want advice on or when we are stuck on some choices. Finally, she is an absolute pleasure to work with - she is funny and kind and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. We would highly recommend her for any of your design needs.

Meg, is extremely organized, efficient and fun to work with. She is quick to understand the needs of a project and the desires of her client. Meg has helped me with colors, lighting, furniture and design in a couple houses we own and has always had good ideas which fall into many different style which include the more traditional designs, Florida designs, and modern designs along with eclectic fun ideas to update a house in addition to just making a house fun. Meg's prices are reasonable and she is very responsive to her clients.
