This company is horrible. I had insulation blown in and after they left I luckily looked up in the attic. I found areas that may have been four inches deep to areas that had no insulation added at all

Whoever is answering the phone needs to be fired. Very very unprofessional. I called to get a quote for insulation at my home and was told I would get a call back in 10 minutes. I called an hour later and was yelled at “When I say I’ll call you back I’ll call you back. IM BUSY!!” I know I dodged a bullet by not doing business with this company.

One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. I would highly suggest avoiding this company. I had them come to provide new insulation in a house that I bought. When they came to do an estimate, they stated that they would suggest removing the old insulation, but were ambiguous about why they would need to do it, but it was considerably more expensive than the addition of the new insulation. The problem, which I later learned, was that the original insulation company that had allegedly insulated the house had simply left rolls of unopened fiberglass insulation in the attic, as if they had never finished the job. I decided to go with their advice, which was certainly a mistake. When the team came to remove the old insulation, they promised that things would be alright and that they would leave the house in exactly the same condition that they found it. They did not. Instead of attempting to seal off the room where the access to the attic was located with the rolls of plastic they brought with them, or attempting to put up plastic curtain around the entrance of the attic (as I was later told by Time Insulation's sales manager himself), or attempting to seal the rolls of old fiberglass insulation, they simply laid plastic in the house and then proceeded to throw down old insulation on top. The result was that fiberglass dust shot all over the kitchen, and the rest of the house. As a result, I had to spend nearly 6 hours scrubbing the walls, floors, and every surface in the house to try and rid myself of the fiberglass problem. I also paid a professional cleaning company to come by and clean the house. There are still lingering traces of the fiberglass in corners of the house even weeks after they came to do the work. Luckily, when they came back the next day to blow in the new cellulose insulation, I had the foresight to ask them to put up a plastic shield to prevent more dust from going into the rest of the house. They said that was fine, but that they would only help put it up if I had blue painters tape--I did not so I had to work on my own to get the plastic shield up to protect my living space and items. And then they proceeded to start working and blowing in the insulation even before I could finish putting up the plastic shield/divider. When I asked about all this, the sales manager admitted that this seemed extremely sloppy and that he would try to send out their cleaning person who cleans their offices. Only nearly a week later did she contact me to actually set up the time that she would come over to simply vacuum and dust--which if anyone has ever dealt with fiberglass would know is unbelievably deficient. When I tried to contact them several times about reimbursing me for the cleaning that I paid for out of my own pocket for their negligence and mistakes, they conveniently ignored every message I sent them. Seriously, do not use this company for any of your needs. Spend whatever extra money you have to, in order to get the job done properly and avoid having to spend much more cleaning up after someone else's mistakes.

They were great. Even gave me a before and after photo of insulation. Very friendly, knowledgeable and cooperative. So glad I took advantage of Dukes rebate and had it installed. Hopefully bills will be lower.

I would not recommend this business that was one of the companies recommended by Duke Energy. The best part of the whole thing was the representative that came out the first day to look at our attic and give us an estimate.. It took 8 more visits after wards, including multiple visits from workers, a re-visit from the gentleman that gave us the estimate and even a manager. Each time they came out to do work in our attic I was working and did not have time to go up and look at the work that was done. And if I had not gone up in the attic I would not have known that they only gave us about 5 of the 10-11"''s of insulation we were supposed to get. I emailed the company twice within a month after the 9th visit and all was good requesting a partial refund for all the time I wasted with having to setup visits for someone to fix an issue that should have been done in two visits. I have yet to hear anything back. No reply to my email and no phone call. I also never had a manager reach out to me to apologize for my inconveniences. All I have to say that if you have this company come out and do work, make sure you verify that it was done correctly. They were one of the companies recommended by Duke Energy and the google reviews I read were also good. But my experience was a nightmare. I will be letting Duke know about my experience if I don't eventually get some type of contact about my experience.

Had a terrible experience. Had this company come out. Took time out of work. They arrived at 8:55am and didn’t get out of the van until 9:30am. Was told by one of the employees that the company sent them out over an hour to do a 15 minute job with 300 bags of insulation on the truck and that my house would take 15 max and that I was the only job for the day. Then was told by the other employee that they didn’t have enough bags on the truck to do the job and they would have to reschedule. They didn’t even cover 1/4 of the attic space. Terrible employees and service. Would not recommend.

I would NOT recommend this company. They parked in front of my driveway and no intention of moving until I came out with my camera to document. This service takes awhile, so I was supposed to be cool with not being able to use my driveway.
