I went in there looking for assistance in ordering materials for a project out of state. Will Blanchard (Regional Manager) was there and assisted me every step of the way. While he could have had me order the materials with him and had them shipped to my project, he forfeited his profit by referring me to his counterpart in the northeast because it would be cheaper for me to do it that way. He gave me excellent customer service all the way through all the while knowing he wasn't going to make a cent off of my project. I highly recommend working with them for all your decking needs!

We are from Illinois but wanted to speak with someone who does multiple decking projects in Florida. We went to Decks and Docks in West Palm Beach Florida and had a wonderful experience there. John Miller was the guy! He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, knew his products, and very helpful. His customer service was impeccable!! He knew we couldn’t buy from him as our project was taking place in a different state but he remained engaged. He gave us samples to take home etc. If we could use him and this business we would! Five stars on our rating!! Thanks John

I will start by saying we have been buying from Decks and docks for a long time and really noticed their decline in customer service quality in the past year. As a contractor, the most important thing is being able to deliver a project in a timely manner. However it’s hard to do that when your material supplier tells you they will deliver at 9am and then it becomes 11am and right now it’s 2pm and they still haven’t showed up. We just don’t know what to keep telling our customer on why we have our guys just sitting on their driveway since 9am. It makes us looks bad and we are only passing on what decks and docks tells us. The money we save on getting a good deal from them just goes down the drain in having to pay our guys to wait all day on the materials. This is about the third order in a roll that they tell us they will be delivering in the morning and dont show up u til the end of the day. Their excuse is always that they do only have one driver on the specific day. Don’t promise what you don’t plan on delivering. Very simple! I will update my review if they get better and if not we will just be forced to deal with another lumberyard. Nothing worse than bad customer service.

I conducted a Google search and found out Decks & Docks had an office near me. My project required specific material so I made a phone call to confirm they had the product I needed. During my phone conversation with the friendly receptionist all my questions were answered as if I was a lifelong account prompting me to immediately drive to their yard. I arrived a short time later and observed a well stocked yard. Upon entering the office I was greeted and assisted without delay. Little did I know at the time but I soon came to find out the customer service provided was beyond my expectations. I relocated to the yard and while I was choosing my material I was greeted by a guy named Scott. After describing my project he immediately walked me through the storage yard in the hot Florida sun until he found exactly what I needed. As I was sweating walking the yard I couldn't stop thinking how helpful and accommodating the employees have been to me. From my initial phone conversation to the hands on service I was more than satisfied up to this point as a first time customer, then then following happened. Upon completing my order, Scott asked when I needed the material. I informed him I would have to get another vehicle to transport the material to the job site. To my surprise he asked if my schedule allowed for him to deliver it today. Well, three hours later the material was delivered and I am a more than satisfied customer! Surprised and satisfied beyond my expectations I now know where I will be purchasing all the lumber for my dock in the Bahamas. I mentioned earlier I was treated as a lifelong account when in fact I was just a first time customer completing a personal project. Scott knew this the entire time and still went above and beyond to help me. This is my very first google review and I am please to say without question Decks & Docks West Palm Beach gets a full five stars from me. So I have one more thing to add... As I was leaving I discovered to my surprise, again, that Scott Boelman is the manager. How often in business today do you get customer service at such a high level especially hands on from the manager? Contact Scott. You won't go wrong! Thanks again!
