I am really pleased with the work Georgian Landscape Design did recently outside our home. We hired them for a consultation quote not really having much of an idea of what to do with the property other than definitely wanting new sod and cleanup work done, but Philip came in and was extremely knowledgeable about existing plants and possibilities to improve the property. The quote provided was itemized and thorough, and we were confident that if we chose them we knew what we were getting which is not common with many other home service providers. They spent several days cleaning up, trimming, and removing some existing plants that were older and overgrown. Then they properly prepped the lawn for new sod. They brought in soil conditioner and around new 200 plants (some larger, some ground cover) to redo some flower beds and improve others. They fixed some drain pipes that were not functioning and buried others as needed to get them out of flower beds. Sod and mulch everywhere at the end. It's been about a month since the work completed and for the most part everything has been great since. The sod is doing extremely well except in a couple small areas that I believe will grow in. The majority of the plants are doing great, although there are maybe 5-7 that are struggling a little bit (half of those may not make it, the others I think will). Given my poor ability to maintain plants historically and the number brought in by GLD, this isn't unreasonable especially given long stretches of 95+ temperatures without rain for the first three weeks. Even though GLD cost more than our other quotes, we are really pleased with the work and would gladly hire them again for our next large landscape project.

We are so happy with our backyard makeover! We immediately loved Philip’s design and ideas. He impressed us with his hand-drawn, detailed plans that brought his vision to life. We especially loved the flow and curves he proposed. It is so great to work with people who love what they do and bring all that knowledge to the job. The crew was really great- dependable, and hard working. They cared about the plans, payed close attention to the design and delivered it perfectly. They timed deliveries well, used the proper equipment, and got creative when they needed to. It was fun to watch them at work - they are a great team. Philip was in regular contact with us and stopped by the site at key intervals to make sure it was progressing as expected. We ended up adding lots of fun elements as things came together.
