I remember coming there for an interview for an internship and being sent back home after travels hundreds of miles. I was rejected for an interview because I didn't have a suit on. I was just a young black male trying to get my foot in the door so I could one day be successful like them. I couldn't afford a suit I was focusing on school at the time and my career . From that day I was discouraged and not motivated to continue my passion for construction. At that time I felt like nothing. I was so excited for the opportunity and then disappointed all in one day. I'm not here to down play their work. But big corporations should understand students with financial problems. That moment discouraged me from not even wanting to do construction anymore. I
