I oversee business development for a Solar EPC and have worked with Quest on 2 projects that were built and several more that are in development. Finn and his team are great to work with and Quest is my go to when looking at parking lot solar canopies.
All nice to say "they're great" and "would work with them again" but the real differentiator in my experiences with Quest and other vendors is the communication and willingness to solve problems.
1: Proactive Communication: When I send an email or leave a message, I always get a response, maybe not the answer, but a message back saying "received and working on it". This is incredibly important to me and shows that they value my time and business. Far too often I send out RFQs to vendors and a week later I'm following up with them to see if they received and are interested in working with us.
2: Problem Solving: In construction things change and issues arise that no one could have foreseen. I've never gotten into the blame game with the team at Quest, never had them once say "that's not our responsibility" at the outset of discussion. The issue of "why" and who's fault" will always get sorted eventually, but I love that their first response to obstacles is always to work at solving the problem creatively and with an eye toward owner relations and budget.

Quest Renewables is an incredible company to work with. They provide a product capable of spans twice long as their competitors and their on-site presence alleviates a lot of construction concerns about dealing with a new product. Highly recommend!

Quest designed and helped us install a 52kW project on top of a new luxury apartment building in Washington DC. The engineering was perfect. One spot had only a 2” clearance between the array and a wall. I was afraid it wouldn’t work but was assured that it would—and so it was. The solar canopy ended up fitting exactly as designed, a truly elegant structure. Quest was great to work with. Great support and flexibility during a project that had multiple challenges. As project manager on this project I would recommend them for any solar canopy project.

Quest Renewables canopies are beautiful and bomber! We recently completed a 907kW canopy near Greenville SC and after working in the solar industry for 20 years, this is the most gorgeous solar canopy project I've ever seen. We're grateful to have partnered with Quest to provide such an eye-catching canopy that will serve the customer and their employees for many years to come.

Quest Renewables was great to work with in all aspects of the solar installation process. As a solar installer, we saw first-hand their commitment to detail and making sure the clients needs are met and exceeded.
