No response. Came out inspected and never returned calls or messages after 3 weeks. Would have been nice to have a response especially after giving out personal and private information . Very unprofessional .Very disappointing especially when the intial conversation and inspection of roof sounded promising as if their company could provide the expected services.
Zytek Roofing replaced my roof, and I do not recommend them for any of your roofing needs. What I have learned since using their service, is that they do not perform the work themself, but they’re basically just the middleman in the process. The work is subcontracted to someone else. And they do not honor their 5 year no leak warranty, make up some false accusations just to prevent doing warranty repairs. If you are still reading, here’s my experience with Zytek:
Zytek replaced my roof in December 2020. They came around 7am and were done before noon. I don’t know anything about roofing, but thought it was too quick to have a whole roof replaced in such a short amount of time. But because they offered a 5 year warranty on paper, I didn’t think much of it. In November 2021, I started noticing a stain on the ceiling in a room near the chimney. After waiting 4 weeks, the salesman came out stating he’s caulking the flashing near the chimney and if it still leaks, it would not be on their part. I wasn’t happy with that response since there were no leaks prior to the roof replacement. I took their word for it, thought the leak was repaired and fast forward to February 2024, I noticed the stain on the ceiling got bigger. I called them again, but this time with a different approach, since it took a while for them to come out the first time I called about the leak. This time, I called for a roof repair and they stopped by the same day. When I told the guy that they replaced the roof and what my experience was the last time I had called about the leak, he ensured me it will get fixed. He would have to reach out to the subcontractor to come out. I called again the next day, only to be told that the subcontractor does not want to come, because I left a bad review and told neighbors to not use their company for roofing needs. I was so flabbergasted about the response, not only because they’re fabricated lies, but because from a business point of view, it doesn’t make sense to use that excuse to not honor your no-leak warranty. If the business owner is reading this, this is the first review I’m writing about the company and after 2 attempts of reaching out to get it fixed and the false accusations, it is indeed going to be an 1 star review. As far as telling neighbors not to use your company: all my neighbors have replaced their roof before I did, and none of them are in need of a new roof, so not sure why you’d fabricate senseless lies.
Coming back to my review, they never came out to fix the leak. I had to consult with a different roofer to address the leak. Turns out that the flashing by the chimney was in poor condition and had to be replaced. And an ice and rain barrier had also be put in place.According to the contract with Zytek, the flashing should have been reworked. So either they never reworked the flashing or damaged the flashing. I don’t believe it was reworked, because the whole roof was replaced under 5 hours. For that short amount of time, the quality of the work performed was probably not a priority.
In conclusion, Zytek does not honor their no-leak warranty, and will fabricate lies/excuses just to prevent addressing issues. A sub-contractor is performing then work. And while they may be able to replace a whole roof quick, they are negligent when it comes to quality. Roof replacement/repairs come with a hefty price tag, don’t use a company like Zytek who is negligent.

Zytek roofing is one of the best ! Donald came and handled everything so professionally and with great care. He was very informative and helpful. If you need help with roofing they are my number 1 recommendation!

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to praise the excellent service I received from Zytek Roofing. They are truly a top-notch operation. From my initial call with Donald on December 30th; to his working with the insurance company to get me approved for a roof replacement, to his patience with me, responding to my questions and concerns, to the actual installation on January 18th, Donald and his crew were the most dedicated group I've ever had work on my home. A Big Crew came early about 7 am, in about 30-degree weather, and finished around noon, which was totally out of my expectation. They were very efficient and they also did a thorough clean up. The new roof looks beautiful, it truly updates the look of my home. If you are looking for a roof replacement, I highly recommend Zytek for their professionalism, great work, and honesty.

Zytek has my highest recommendation for roofing needs. The entire process was as smooth as a homeowner could ask for. The initial evaluation by Don was very thorough. He gave me a very good debrief on his findings and explained how Zytek would replace the roof and with only quality materials. Once the insurance adjuster had completed their process, Mike helped us tremendously on picking out the colors of the replacement shingles and also explained the process. Roof replacement took place within one week of insurance settlement! Day of construction, the crew arrived at 7am and took great care to cover all landscaping and respectful of the property. Work was completed by 6pm and clean up was phenomenal. The attention to detail, quality of workmanship and the "curb appeal" of the new roof well exceeded our expectations. On-site manager, Chris, was excellent to work with, answered all my questions and kept us apprised of progress during the day of replacement. Thank you to the Zytek team for taking such great care of us. The work was excellent and the communications was perfect.

My experience with Zytek was top notch. They were responsive and kept me informed on the time the tech would arrive. They provided excellent service at a great value. This is a company with integrity and standards. We would definitely recommend them and they will be our first phone call if we need Roof work again. Donald H came out and made the repairs in a timely manner. He went above and beyond to assist us. I highly recommend Zytek Roofing!

I called Zytek because I had a leak in my kitchen. They came in about an hour and a half. They checked my roof and went into my attic. They found the overflow pipe on my AC unit caused the leak. They told me my roof was good for another 10 years barring an accident or weather. They didn't charge me a dime. They said free estimate was really a free estimate and inspection. They could have tried to sell me a roof. They were pleasant, professional and most of all....HONEST. Hard to find these days. I will recommend them to anyone that needs help.

Zytek Roofing is the only roofing company you ever need! Mike and his crew did an amazing job on our roof replacement. Mike takes so much personal interest in the total project from the explanation of what all will be done all the way through the follow-up when it is finished. They left my house & yard in exactly the shape it was when they started. I have never dealt with a more professional and caring roofing contractor. I TOTALLY recommend them for all your roofing needs. Mike's attention to detail is fantastic and he will make sure that you are happy with the whole project from start to finish. Zytek Roofing did an excellent job with my new roof. They worked with me and my insurance company in a very professional manner making it stress-free. The work crew worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning up. Mike , the owner, is local and was readily available for any questions I had. I highly recommend Mike and the Zytek team!
