I recently hired Atlanta Painting Company, After a tree fell of the house and into the living room. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Mathias was my project manager and he quickly took control of the project allowing me to move on to pressing matter with faith he was the man for the job,l. Mathias took multiple calls after hours, communicated throughout the project, and kept me informed on progress made, providing me with pictures and videos. I will be hiring Atlanta Painting Company again, and requesting Mathias as his quality of management far outweighed the cost of the job!!!

We hired this company to handle the interior painting of our home in Roswell as part of our relocation from Florida. The project was led by Ricardo Gutierrez as the project manager and Alberto one of the lead painters on the crew. The scope of work included the entire interior of our home and garage: ceilings, walls, baseboards, windows, shutters, trim, doors, closets, shelves, etc. There was a lot of detail work involved and a lot of pre-painting prep for the home including the screened in porch. These guys and the crew did an AMAZING job: they were very neat, diligent and extremely professional in their work. What is even more impressive is that we were never on site as we were in the process of moving from our home in Florida: packing and dealing with the moving company. We were thrilled when we arrived to our new retirement home and saw the results of the painting. We did have some touch up work that needed to be completed. We contacted the company and Ricardo was quick to get the crew together one more time to finish the job. Thank you Ricardo, Alberto and crew for your incredible professionalism and amazing work ethic. We have other projects planned in the near future and will certainly be calling the company again to utilize your services!!! :)

If you are prepared to act as full time manager and foreman for the crew and train junior crew members how to prep surfaces and on painting technique, then you may want to go with APC. This was the sloppiest paint job I’ve ever seen. On my project unfortunately the crew did not sand down surfaces before painting, attached raw unprimed wood to the house in areas that needed to be repaired due to water issues, did not clean off surfaces before painting (they painted over dirt and cobwebs), did not cover plants and was a bit rough when dealing with windows - several window balance kits were broken on my house although they have said they will replace at least one balance kit thankfully. A large custom made wooden shutter was also damaged but what is probably most bothersome about that is that they did not inform me. Regarding painting quality, at least one or two members did not know how to use the sprayer or the paint brush — leaving streaks all over large sections of the siding and areas of trim outside were left with gobs of excess paint running down the corners, some spots had deep finger prints in them, while other areas were painted so thin that streaks of the old paint color showed through. The agreements made with the salesperson also did not come to fruition. For example, it was agreed to use Hardie product for repairs rather than regular wood and the salesperson said they could pressure wash the outside patio areas included in the quote. Instead, in many places regular wood was used that was not primed on all surfaces and no Hardie product was used anywhere; no one informed me of the switch before the repairs were made. Further, the project manager said they didn’t know about the agreement to pressure wash the patios. Finally, the painting crew also placed very wet just painted shutters against the house and behind very wet just painted metal shutter holders, resulting in the shutters and holders getting stuck together and causing chipped paint. I was able to step in and get some things corrected, but it took lots of time and caused added stress, still waiting on some things to be addressed. The crew also left overpaint on widow glass panes which I had to request for them to clean off and remove several times, hopefully that will be done soon. They also offer color consultant services and one of the consultants is pretty good but you only get a rushed 45 minute consult included in your quote, even for complex exterior jobs that cost over $11,000 and require lots of coordination around architectural details, like stone, and decisions on colors for doors, shutters, trim and siding. Any additional color consulting is billed at around $150 per hour. The salesperson’s mailbox is nearly always full as well and no one answers the office phone number. I am hopeful APC will make most things right before the job is done but I would like compensation for the many hours I spent researching and finding the products they said they could use on the house and the lost time I spent instructing the crew on prepping surfaces and painting technique every day of the project. I called the project manager and asked why I had to instruct and manage the crew on painting prep and technique and he said he didn’t have an answer. On a positive note, the crew was pleasant, they just need much better training and an actual manager.

This will be my third time using Atlanta Painting Company. They are an excellent company to work with and will always do a stellar job. This time around I had Brandon as the painting consultant and Freddy as the team lead. Both were exceptionally nice and all around professional. Brandon was detailed in his estimates and had some great recommendations. Freddy was very thorough with his team and made sure the job was done right. If you want a consistent, cost effective, and quality job done then this is the company to go with!

We hired Atlanta Painting Company after interviewing several others. We met with Gena who seemed very nice and honest. She talked about her own issues owning an older house and wanting to preserve what could be preserved. We discussed Duration paint and replacing only the back side gutters. She sent a quote for super paint and the entire gutter system as her people don’t repair gutters nor do they pick and choose which ones to replace. This was absolutely not what she told us during the interview process. We also discussed extensive scraping and sanding even though it had only been 7 years since we had the entire house painted. She later texted me that their company didn't sand. This is contradictory to our personal conversation as well as the contract we signed with APC. This company did absolutely no sanding, scraping or wiping down debris before painting. They did pressure wash but we had bad rain storms just the night before they began the job. They didn't wait for any drying to occur and went around the house with hammers banging holes into our windows to create new work for themselves. The worst experience ever and it’s very irritating to know we’re going to have to go through this process again In a year because the paint is already peeling because it wasn't given a good surface to adhere to. I'm attaching a few photos but there are many, many more.

Just completed part of our 2nd project with Atlanta Painting Company. This was painting & reflooring of our home office. Like the first experience, there was excellent communication about the work to be done & attentive follow up. We really like using this company because of this accountability for the work - unlike our last disastrous experience with a guy who refused to even take our calls to come back to fix things his crew messed up. APC goes out of their way to do proper prep work. Our painters, especially Michael, did a beautiful job and asked questions when unsure. The flooring installation went very smoothly and looks fantastic. Everyone is also very courteous. They are returning soon to refinish our living room hardwood floors & to paint a bedroom. Highly recommend APC.

I’m so so pleased with the work they performed I’m embarrassed it took me 6 months to do a review. Not only were they professional they were fast and the work looks great. I loved that the paint specialist came out with sample blocks so I could see what things were going to look like. My house went from being the ugliest on the block to a little diamond! The team was incredible and patient and my home looks amazing to say the least. I used to be so embarrassed of the paint job but it feels good to smile when I pull up at my beautiful home. I will be reaching out to them for a quote on my deck this year. Highly recommended for great work and reasonable prices.
