Usually I try to be nice with companies, however, when I replaced one of our AC unit back in 2019 paying over $3000 for the job, I believed the good reputation of American Comfort.And it broke last year, and brought 2 different companies to check out on the ac unit before I reached out to American Comfort. 2 other companies pointed out that there are possible leakage within the coil and suspected the poor installation in a first place. Then, I called the American Comfort without telling them that I installed the Ac unit from them. Gentleman came out, and said something is wrong with the system, and require extra pay to find the problem (he couldn't identify leakage unlike other companies). Well, I paid for the other companies for the initial inspection and I also paid American comfort for the initial inspection but I did not know how they requires extra pay even to identify the problem. I knew that something wrong with the Ac unit, that was why I called the company, but I did not need affirmation from the so-called "professional" that something is wrong with my ac unit. Well, and I explained the gentleman that I installed this ac unit 4 years ago. And he examine the unit and said it doesn't look like they did a good job in a place, and recommend me to get the new unit set up, and giving me a quote about $4,000. Then, I told him that I actually got this unit from his company. There was a long pause, and he starting to take pictures and said he will report it to the company and contact me back. Well, its been months without a response. I am not AC expert,thus surely know that company that does make the customer pays $7,000 within 4 years is not a good company.

WAY OVER PRICED! Seriously, not even close to being competitive with other quotes. GET A COMPETITIVE BID FROM OTHERS BEFORE GOING WITH THIS COMPANY’S QUOTE. We didn’t use them obviously, so no opinion about quality of work they perform.
On a positive note, the employee they sent was extremely nice and professional and represented the company well even when I told him the company’s quote was double the other bids we got.

I have used American Comfort Heating and Cooling approximately 6-8 times over the last two years (both for my own home and investment properties) and I’ve been pleased every time. 5 ⭐️ and then some. Shout out to Lewis Gentry for making the process super easy every time.

Had a great experience diagnosing a unit problem. They were very prompt and responsive. They clearly provided my options and was not pushy in making what has turned out to be a large purchase. Thanks to Chris and team.

American Comfort arrived on time and was able to complete the work on schedule including correcting a previous company’s installation shortcut. Technicians were both pleasant and capable. We’ll be using American Comfort again.

They did a very-much non-standard HVAC install on our new home and did an excellent job of it. The house has aerated concrete walls inside and out, so it required some creative solutions to get it done, but they came through with flying colors and we now have a very energy efficient system keeping us cozy! Lewis was our sales and business point-of-contact and was actively involved throughout. The install teams were efficient and competent and did whatever it took to get it done! Thanks for a truly exceptional job folks! ??

Wow
Lewis came out and discussed our needs in great detail.
In a few days we had 3 separate quotes, each one giving us detailed options based on our budget and gave us a few weeks to mull over our options before we called and selected our best option.
Today the entire new unit was installed and the adjustments necessary were made on our second unit all completed in one day.
Wow! Not a spec of dirt to be seen anywhere, inside or out.
What a great job!
We are very satisfied with the cost and efficiency of the install.
