Siding was done less than a year ago and pieces are already fallen off ☹️ called and he told me he would be here to fix five different times with no-shows and lots of excuses ? Finally had to call somebody else to fix. Hopefully this helps somebody and saves them from the headache and they move on to a company that’s more professional. And trustworthy ??????

The most unresponsive company I have ever worked with. We closed on our house in May of 2022. The previous owner had left us a cashiers check made out to Iowa Legends to complete a new roof on our garage. We spent months trying to get in contact with them to complete the job and on November 3rd (almost 6 months after the original estimate) they finally sent a new estimate totaling $1600 more than the cashiers check already written to them. I spoke with Amber about how I didn't feel it was our fault that this new estimate is so much more since we have been trying to get in contact with them for months. That was on December 1st. She told me the manager would call me back that next Monday. I never heard anything. I called back December 19th and they were magically able to do our garage door much closer to the original estimate. Amber then said they would order materials and it would be complete soon. I didn't hear anything back for weeks so i called again on January 10th, no one answered and left a voicemail. January 11th they called and said the materials were in and the project would be done at the end of the month. This morning January 17th, I have a worker drop off materials at my home. Hours later at 1:30pm, they finally start working on our garage roof. We were not informed at all of when they would be coming to our home. Iowa legends hasn't even told us how/when to give them this cashiers check. This project has taken them 8 months to complete. Unacceptable. Every single step of this process has been a nightmare and stressful. The lack of communication and professionalism is unreal. If you use this company, be prepared to have to call them every week and stay on top of your project.

I’m not sure why we didn’t receive the same service as everyone else but we sure didn’t. We came to Iowa Legends because of their reputation. We had an insurance claim for water damage to a downstairs bathroom. Aaron came out in December 2021 and looked at the project (as well as several other projects). We signed the estimate in early February (took that long to put it together) and patiently waited our turn. Early March, we were repeatedly told, “We’ll be out next week, it’s a 2-day job”, and nothing. March 15 they got started and sent a contractor they’ve never worked with before. It was a nightmare. Nothing was taped off so our entire house was filthy with drywall dust and the end product looks worse than it did to start with. It was a 4-day project and we reached out to Aaron several times by phone and text to explain how bad it was. Aaron repeatedly told us he would send his “best guy” out to fix it. More phone calls and texts and then we met with Garry in the office to express our concerns. More empty promises and here we are the end of May with no resolution. At this point, we’re done. We will find someone else to fix their mess. This process has been beyond stressful. The first pictures are the sloppy work, followed by the mess left behind. It’s worse in person. Definitely not quality work and their customer service is terrible.

Their crew showed up today and replaced the roof. You can't even tell anyone was here, well except for the amazing new shingles. Even our neighbor said it looks great!

In 2 weeks time, we had an estimate, picked out our shingles and yesterday the job was completed. Josh is very knowledgeable, timely and answered all our questions. Their crew worked hard, arrived at 6:30 AM and the job was done by 6:00 PM. They did an excellent job with their clean-up as well. So pleased with the job from start to finish. After contacting multiple companies who kept trying to downplay the minor issue we wanted to get fixed in the now in favor of trying to force the total roof replacement when we couldn't make that happen, and then being ghosted when they couldn't secure the bigger job, we finally found our contractor for any and all future projects. Josh and his crew bid the small roof repair we needed, and a small siding repair, and not only came in at an affordable rate, but was extremely understanding and pleasant to work with. His work was done efficiently and with great quality. we will absolutely be using Josh and the Iowa Legends crew for all or repair and remodel needs, big or small!
