Whenever I read customer reviews, I’m somewhat skeptical and wonder if the person leaving the review is indeed a customer and not a friend or employee of the company. As a small business owner, I assure that is not the case to whoever reads this.
We could not be happier with our experience with Ankeny Glass. Prior to contacting them we had received a quote from a local competitor, and were not offered any options. After contacting Ankeny Glass, we quickly received an estimate as well as options as to alternative products or services. Their representatives were consistently prompt, professional, and extremely personable. More importantly, the end product was better than expected at a great price. I’m certain we could not have found a better business or experience than Ankeny Glass.
We purchased cabinets and countertops from Ankeny Glass aka Kitchen & Bath company for a remodel here in Ankeny. Aaron Briley did a great job for us with purchasing, scheduling and follow up. The products where very nice and pricing was competitive. I highly recommend them.

We purchased our shower door from Ankeny Glass as part of our master bath remodel, are very satisfied with their service (sales, measurement & installation), and definitely recommend them. Our exterior wall was not level which created challenges with the door, but Ankeny Glass handled it with ease and you would never know its not level. Additionally, the door we initially ordered was on back order and Ankeny Glass did a great job helping us select an alternate door to keep us on track and on budget.

As a contractor I've used Ankeny Glass many times over the years for my own home and other projects I've worked on. They have been able to save me a lot of money over other local glass companies with my storefront glass and bathroom mirrors and shower doors. I definitely recommend using them.

We bought a custom shower door through Ankeny Glass. 5 stars for the door itself, 1 star for the overall experience dealing with this business. I was told over the phone based on the size of the door, the cost should be $800-900. When I finalized order, the charge was $1050 and no one could adequately explain the discrepancy. I dealt with the sales person primarily through email and she would not respond to messages in what I consider a timely manner and sometimes a follow-up was required to get a response. One of the hinge screws was stripped during installation and the installer did not have a spare available. (Having spare screws would probably be a good idea, especially since my home is 40 miles from their homebase). Another installer had to come back a week later to extract the damaged screw and replace it. No apology was made for the inconvenience it caused me. I love the shower door but would I use this business again in the future? No, I would not.
