They are too big to answer their phone apparently. 11:40 is a little early for lunch. One of the things I appreciate about small businesses is the personal touch with a human answering the phone. This place has a lady's voice saying "Press 1 for sales" and "Press 2 for service". They don't want to talk to customers. Ok. I won't be a customer.
Doug replaced, and tested, the drain pump in my 15-year-old Bosch washer in an impressively minimal amount of time. My machine works great so far! He was punctual, knowledgeable, and overall, very professional--qualities that are severely lacking in today's world. I hope I don't have another appliance failure in the near future, but if I do, I know who to call.

The least expensive option fixed my 5 year old refrigerator. John had a good idea what was wrong just by listening to it run. Next option was a new compressor, which probably meant new fridge.

John is always great to work with on repair needs. He was able to quickly replace our refrigerators' broken ice-maker and get us up and running again. Great people to work with for our repair needs.

Lampe now has a forever customer with me. They were very helpful and knowledgeable when I called with dryer issues. When they came for the repair they were quick and reasonably priced.

I started going here when we moved just down the street and we lucked out.
They are professional and reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve never been talked down to, they just talk to you like a neighbor would.
If you want to get seen asap I always recommend calling when they are closed and leaving a message. They return their messages first thing in the morning and they will get you in the schedule asap.
I will happily continue to use Lampe Appliance for as long as I live in Cedar Rapids

Have had Lampe do work for us three times so far, always excellent service. Most recently for a refrigerator noise, we had an appointment to diagnose our refrigerator noise three days after calling in, which we were pleased with. On Friday, John quickly found and corrected the noise source which has eluded me for months. On Monday morning we got a call from him to confirm the problem was fixed. Simply top notch customer service.

The technician who came out to help me fix our washer was fantastic. They got me in right away. He arrived early and was very helpful. It was a small fix, but more that I was able to do on my own. He got our washer working again quickly, and our business back on track. I'm not sure if his smile was part of the lampe uniform but he was a pleasure to deal with! Definitely recommend, we will absolutely call them again!

Doug Lampe diagnosed an igniter issue on a LG gas oven, and was able to repair on the spot. Labor and parts rates were very reasonable. We have used their Cedar Rapids family owned company before and will continue to do so in the future.
