Pat and the team were insanely fast to respond to our electrical emergency. Even though Pat was on his way to his daughter’s birthday, he still managed to arrive promptly and help us get back open for business! Thanks to everyone who helped us out on a Saturday!
Having experienced enough power outages and getting older, husband and I decided we were finished with trying to start a portable generator. We contacted Generac and requested quotes for a whole house generator. Two dealers got in touch promptly. We decided to go with Electric Doctor in Davenport. Grant, Kurt, and Murphy arrived promptly on the scheduled date and installed our unit. We are very pleased with the experience and look forward to a long relationship with Electr.

Kurt and Murphy arrived on time and got everything installed faster than I anticipated. They were very nice and professional. We are happy to know we are protected incase of any power outages.

Beware!!!
I contacted electric Doctor for a issue I was having do to a power surge. It was obvious from the beginning what the problem was and I did relay all information to the secretary who scheduled the technician to come out.
Before getting off the phone the secretary said and I quote " I want you to understand how we operate, we send a fully trained professional who will have a fully equipped truck to diagnose and fix any issue you may have.This will cost a flat rate of $80. The tech will from there tell you how much the repair with labor will cost."
With that information I scheduled for the tech to come out. Once he started working I told him again everything that had happened which again was obvious I had a power surge.
After two hours of his emailing and calling to confirm my issue and hopefully trying to locate a part he tells me he has another appointment to go to and that I would hear back from him within a couple of days. Then before he leaves tells me I need to pay him now $290 and that the job he did validated his charges. I was in complete shock and unfortunatley I paid the bill thinking there was a error on his end that I would correct with his office.
I called the secretary to inform her of the situation and that I couldn't understand how I could be told I would only be charged $80 for a diagnostic and service quote. She seemed caught of gaurd as well and let me know she would talk with the tech and get back with me right away. As time went on the tech actually was the one who called me back and became confrontational telling me that im complaining and that since he looked at the breaker box he has to charge me additionally even though he did not tell me prior. I was in shock by the lack of transparancy and professionalism. I was told in two days I would here back about the parts and labor needed to fix my problem and here one week later to the day I have no answers, nothing has been fixed, no quote on parts or labor.
That being said I started calling the office to speak to the manager. She also lacked any kind of sympathy and it became obvious that customer service and the ability to be transparant is not a value to her or her team at the electric doctor instead they have other values like making sure they take the customer for all they possibly can.
Save yourself the money and headache and choose another company for any electrical issues you may have, I know I am and my family will from here on out

I recently called/hired the "Electric Doctor", based in Iowa, for the installation of two Tesla wall chargers at my home/business. The experience was nothing short of exceptional! Install was for a Tesla Cybertruck and a Model 3.
From the moment I contacted Electric Doctor, I was able to schedule an appointment. They managed to fit me into their schedule promptly, and the installation process was incredibly fast.
The technicians who arrived were professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the installation process. Their attention to detail was evident, and they made sure everything was functioning flawlessly before they left.
The quality of the installation was on point. The chargers were mounted perfect.

Excellent experience with Electric Doctor. They installed a full house generator. The Saleman was thorough with his assessment, they followed up with reminders on appointments, and technicians (Kurt/Tony) was professional, knowledgeable and proficient. Would recommend Electric Doctor!!

Great service yesterday by Zach! Arrived home from a vacation to find my old hard wired smoke alarms on high, vaulted ceilings beeping non-stop. In about an hour dispatch had him on his way to replace all of the alarms - peace and quiet quickly returned. Will use again!

I am not electric savvy at all and everyone part of the team was so polite. Came in and installed a new sub panel or something (again not electric savvy) in our home to be able to withstand the Tesla wall charger I had to be installed. Everything was very affordable, and done within 3 hours from when they started doing it.
