We are building an addition to our existing house and Sequel Architecture was my first experience with an architect. After talking with Steve about what I was hoping to accomplish, he explained the process we would go through in a way that gave me confidence that he was listening to what I was saying and was committed to accomplishing my design goals.
I was presented with three levels of service to choose and found one that met my needs. Steve was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. His focus was on what I wanted and designed a wonderful structure for our house project.
I would highly recommend considering Sequel Architecture for any design needs.
Our farmhouse exterior restoration in Iowa is going so smoothly due to Sequel Architecture. If you are fortunate and have Steve work with you, it will be a project well done with finesse and great detail.

Steve and his team were great to work with on my business build out. They helped with getting all the measurements so my contractor had a base to work from. Helping me visualize and layout my equipment was a huge help. Additionally they helped determine occupancy and a couple of other little ideas. They have a great eye for detail. I would absolutely recommend working with Steve and his team.

Our experience with Steve and his team was great! Being a couple of hours away from their office, it was easy to schedule and have our progress meetings online. They were able to explain things clearly and listen to our ideas and suggestions. I feel like we came away with a plan that works well for us. We just broke ground and the contractor seems happy with the plan.

Steve and Gabbi are so great. We met with them various times to help assess what the process would be like to build a fully custom home, and then to discuss what a full-gut reno would entail. They were thoughtful, honest, patient, and generous with their time and expertise in helping us make the best home-related choice for our family. We can't wait to work with them again in the future!
