I have been having trouble with some tools sent from an online order. Trying to reach someone via the phone number was very difficult. So, I called the Des Moines store, desperate to speak with a human being. Alexis, from sales, picked up, and she was so very helpful. She took down my information and attempted to contact a manager from the e-commerce side. She shared some strategies with me, and let me know either she or the manager would get in touch with me so I needn't wait on hold any longer than I already have.
This was really superb customer service, made even more so, as Alexis could just have easily had told me this was out of her wheelhouse. Instead, she went the extra mile and was hugely helpful.
Alexis is an excellent company representative, and should be enormously valued for projecting the store's image the way she does.
I wish that the online system was similar.

Ami at Acme is an amazing purchasing consultant. We had some hard-to-find tools we were trying to purchase. Ami took her time with us and found exactly what we were looking for. Great attitude and very knowledgeable.

Ordered an ego trimmer and blower combo. They clearly sent me a returned/opened/resealed one…. I sent them photos and they say FedEx must have tampered with it….. lol….. cannot admit they sent me a returned product. My two options are wait for return label and get a refund after they receive it back and access the product or wait for a label, send it back and wait for them to get more in stock… terrible first time experience do not buy pricey stuff off this website. Your $ will be tied up.

Love Acme Tools, incredibly disappointed with this location. Came for Black Friday, looks like they have a case of the Lazy’s. Tools all over the floor, can’t get to any of the woodworking stuff, no price tags on 75% of the items, no BF sales from what I can see, thumbs down on this one ??
