GREAT service and reasonable cost. Our front door is 80 years old and the key broke off inside the lock. and it was in terrible shape but after 17 years of not being able to use the front door we were finally were able to get the Broken key out of the lock. This broken key is the only key we had. we came into the locksmith and the lady was very friendly and helpful and positive that she would be able to help us. I really thought there was little chance that this was going to be easy or fast or reasonably priced. She was fantastic! I've gone to other locksmiths for much simpler things and they didn't seem interested in helping. Not only did she dig around until she finally found the right blank for our door but it worked flawlessly. We only had one key made and then we came back after we tested it and it worked to get the three more made. I can't say thank you enough for the help that she gave us. I wish all businesses were that friendly and we left there paying about $3 per key and I was absolutely shocked that there are still places where people care about service. This is going to be the only locksmith I use moving forward. absolutely fantastic. It is great to find a place that gives fantastic service.

They installed an electric strike for our ADT access control. The installation was very clean and well done. I had some questions and Larry drove back down to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend Des Moines Lock Service. Great craftsmanship and service.
