Service was awesome! He was friendly, thorough and punctual. Got in right away. I would definitely use him again and would definitely refer him to others! It's rare to find service like this these days!!! I'd give him more stars if I could! ? ?
I called to schedule someone to come look at our septic and the man who answered the phone was beyond rude. His tone and how he was speaking to me was disrespectful and unprofessional. I truly have never experienced such poor customer service. I did not move forward with scheduling because the first impression was awful and I took my business elsewhere.

Very, very, very, very good. Very responsive. Very good communicator. Got the job done very fast. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to call again should the need arise.

We’ve used Hawkeye for a few different jobs, the pipes and drains in this house are just awful. And one incident of a toddler flushing some keys down the toilet. All of the jobs I would give 5 stars to. I had someone hire a different company while we were gone and the job was terrible, acid was poured in my tub (after I specifically said no) and left all kinds of chemical burns—and needed to be readdressed not 2 weeks later. I was afraid that would be the case the second I looked at it. I was extremely upset that my plumbers of choice were not called to begin with. We’ve always trusted the crew at Hawkeye. So we called Hawkeye and Billy came out and fixed it within 10 minutes. I’ve never had to call them out to repeat a job because he’s always done it the right way the first time! They’re friendly, honest and fair, also friendly with your pets and kids. They will always be our first choice, and we recommend them to EVERYONE!

Jordan did an amazing job fixing our plumbing problem on Saturday. Jordan was very kind and took the time to explain what we were dealing with. Hawkeye Sewer & Drain pricing is very reasonable. We highly recommend this company.

Great experience using them. Had an issue with water backup from a main line sewer clog and had called a different plumbing company that never showed up! I was very stressed out and called and talked to Billie from Hawkeye. He was honest and knowledgeable about my issue and assured me of what to do till he arrived. I was very relieved and was so glad I called them. Billie was prompt and got right on clearing my line. Everything was done in no time at all and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I've had interactions with Hawkeye Sewer and Drain a few times this past year--all wonderful. (I have a very old house and I'm still learning about how to maintain it! And I was using the wrong toilet paper--Costco brand is a no-no, apparently!)
Jordon and others with the company have been patient and thoughtful in helping me understand each problem and how I can prevent it in the future/their method for fixing it. They are natural and willing teachers--if a client decides to ask questions--as much as they are excellent tradesmen in plumbing.
And the pricing is reasonable. And, like everyone else has mentioned in these reviews, they are quite reliable about showing up when they say, and they are on-call, so if your basement floods on a Sunday, then they will be there later that Sunday to fix it.)

I am a returning customer. Both times they had someone on site within four hours, and with a quick initial call. Both times my problems were solved quickly, and at a very reasonable price (~$110). Highly recommend this service, I am now a loyal customer. I will use Hawkeye S&D for various plumbing needs moving forward, including a planned fixture replacement.

I’m a little conflicted about how to rate. The initial problem is fixed but he created a new problem by not reattaching a drain pipe properly on my clothes washer…. I ran the washer unknowingly and all the water poured onto the floor in areas where there was never water. I’m lucky I didn’t have anything in that area and the washer was not damaged, but I could’ve had important stuff there? It was very easy to put the pipe into the other pipe, so I’m sure it was an honest mistake but kind of unacceptable because of the damage it could’ve caused.
With regards to the actual service, I called them and someone came within a few hours and he worked hard to get all the roots out of my main line. He was not forthcoming with info but was very knowledgeable at answering my questions when I asked. The basement was left with some dirt/sludge splattered around the access point and dirty water dripped up the stairs/landing as he took the machine out. But I think maybe that’s standard? It’s dirty work and I’d rather clean up myself then pay for more hours. I’d also rather have the clog cleared than keep it clean ?
