These guys are truly pathetic little baboons. I own an equipment company and I do have an HVAC license. But, these part guys think they’re made of something even though they work behind a parts counter, and they rudely refused to provide a bottle of refrigerant because I didn’t have, or want, an account with them. I needed the refrigerant to repair some medical equipment in town (which I drove from Colorado to do), and these low paid monkeys can’t determine the difference between an air conditioning man an a systems engineer.
Won’t sell to the public. Enjoy bankruptcy!
Edit in response to owner: there’s nothing you sell I can’t purchase elsewhere. There’s no law requiring I have a license. All you are doing is gate keeping so you can please your HVAC guys. It’s companies like yours that have allowed HVAC companies to charge $10k for a furnace install. Shame on you.

They don’t have what you need and think they know better than you do. guy sold parts for 10 years never seen or heard of a 5/8th liquid dryer a very common part on HVAC/R equipment.

Johnstone Supply has been an excellent place for me to do business. The employees are great to work with. They are willing and happy to provide pricing and locate difficult to find parts and equipment. Their prices are competitive and affordable. This company is not a Home Depot or Ace Hardware where anyone can pop in and buy HVAC equipment or government regulated parts and gases. It's a supplier for licensed HVAC professionals.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Went in looking for a vent cover, the employee wouldn't even answer my question until I gave him an account #. I told him I didn't have an account, proceeded to treat me like a toddler who had just done something I wasn't supposed to. Asked if they had the product I needed, he told me to check home depot and would not provide any additional information. The employee was very rude, for no reason. I would never trust them with my business. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your needs.
