Moses of The Bearded Hammer helped us with two projects and was friendly, efficient and skilled. Matt “Moses” Mullaly is licensed and insured as both a plumber and a handyman. He does TV mounts, furniture assemblies, fences, doors, garage doors, rain gutters, custom cabinets, shelving, blind installations, some electrical projects and, of course, any plumbing. Moses was easily contacted by phone and text, promptly returned calls and showed up on time. He seems very reliable. Moses is the owner and operator of The Bearded Hammer so, unlike with some companies that have several employees, you know who you will be doing the work when you contact him. We highly recommend The Bearded Hammer.
I called Moses, the famed Bearded Hammer, based on the Yelp reviews. He did not disappoint.
Our appointment today was for between 2 and 3 pm. We are retired, recently moved to Star, and were just hanging out when he called about 11:30 and said, "Hi Paul, you want to mount a TV?". I said heck yeah!
Moses arrived about 30 minutes later. He is intelligent, articulate, and sports a ZZ Top beard. We chatted easily while he did his work, and he does it well. A plumber by trade, he is very knowledgeable about all things construction. After mounting our 65" TV on our porcelain fireplace, my wife and I talked to him about our other projects: installing curtain rods, building shelving in our primary bathroom, and mounting our washer and dryer on pedestals. He will be back in 2 weeks. We found his fee very reasonable.
We have found ourselves a dynamite handyman!

Moses customer service is top notch. I’m a handyman as well and I’ve come to rely on him for his plumbing skills and expertise. His work is meticulous and he’s quick to return calls, super reliable.

It was my good fortune to have Moses here to do a few jobs around the house for me. That he’s a journeyman plumber is a BIG advantage over regular handyman service elsewhere. His response to my inquiry was quick, and his work was first-rate. Be sure to visit his website or Instagram page to see his before/after pictures.

Moses was highly reccomemnded to us by close local friends. We have used him for two projects so far, with another in the planning stage ... maybe 2 others. The first was a plumbing installation, plus adding a grab bar. The second involved work in our crawl space repairing a dryer vent and and a major HVAC duct. Moses is extremely easy to talk to, and work with. My wife and I are seniors and beyond the age of doing many common homeowner tasks. We feel lucky thay our friends shared him with us.
