They are so helpful with finding the right parts needed. It was a little more expensive than the big box stores, but not enough to justify a drive to Idaho falls. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and local.
This place is terrible. Has terrible customer service and all the workers hardly know what they are doing. I have been overcharged 4 times now because they don't have the right pricing listed. They offered a discount to what it was listed at, it took you 10 minutes to ring me up how long is it going to take to make the price right?

I had a long-standing problem solved today by a very patient and persistent sales associate at this store! Give Duke a raise! His knowledge and problem-solving abilities certainly exceeded my own, and I'm very grateful.

This store is fairly similar to Ace Hardware in Rexburg as far as what they carry. However, my experience with employees here was not great. I asked two different employees if they carried two different items and both employees said that they did not. Certain that they had them and the employees were not knowledgeable enough to know what I was referring to, I asked a third employee who was able to help me. Overall, they have what you need, but be willing to go find it yourself in their store because their own employees don't know what they have and what they don't have.

I used to look forward to visiting Standard Plumbing at their old location that they closed a few years ago as they were always helpful and friendly. Today I found them again. When I went in I found the 3/8" compression T that I was looking for, it was only priced $1 more than Ace Hardware at $8.59, (Ace Hardware was out of stock). I also picked up a 1.5oz box of finishing nails that were priced at $2.29. When I checked out, the compression T rang up at $15.79 (84% more than the retail price tag) and the 1.5oz box of finishing nails rang up at $2.99 (31% more than the retail price tag. When I brought it to the cashier's attention, he shrugged and said, "inflation?". Since I wanted to complete my projects today, I paid the extra inflated price. I won't be back to Standard Plumbing Supply's new store to pay inflationary pricing. BTW, big box stores in Idaho Falls have the parts in stock at half the price of Standard Plumbing. I will plan my future purchases accordingly.
