We recently did a complete remodeling of a bathroom with Kitchen Village. Our designer, Anila, did a great job helping us pick out everything and making sure that the whole design went together. Jim's experience was invaluable in making recommendations on how to do things. All of the crews were great and did high quality work. We couldn't be happier with the results. We wouldn't change anything even if we could. Highly recommend.

We recently had our kitchen and bath remodeled by Kitchen Village. The project was rather large involving two wall removals and a beam install for one of the walls which was a supporting wall. Linda was our designer and was a huge help when it came to making material decisions and offered many options. It was very comforting knowing she was there to help us make decisions by narrowing down choices for us. We were impressed with Jim the owner, who came out to do a visual inspection up front looking for potential problems. He was very knowledgeable as well. I can't say enough for the crews that Kitchen Village used. We’ve done a number of major construction projects ourselves on our home and can honestly say that everyone of the crews were top notch. The carpentry work was just outstanding. The project went pretty much on time but getting the punch list items completed took longer than expected. Overall we are very pleased with the remodel project and would highly recommend Kitchen Village and Linda to work with.

Carol put together excellent designs for each room, taking our input and adding her insights and expertise. Adrian and the tradesmen who did the work were meticulous about their craft, to the point of remediating underlying flaws from prior contractors. Their finishing work was fantastic, as were their suggestions and recommendations along the way. Working with Jim, as always, is a pleasure. We hired Kitchen Village for a full renovation of our kitchen and main bathroom. We met the Owner, Jim, and used Dorothy as our Designer and Project Manager. Both project experiences showed great quality control measures as Dorothy expertly navigated both jobs through completion. Any issues were met head on and immediately. The labor showed up on time, on the scheduled days, and they were not only professional but were so personable. It was like having family come over. There was exceptional camaraderie between the entire team. Both projects were finished on time. Dorothy has such a comprehensive, tasteful eye for design that we often deferred to her over our selections and both projects turned out exceptional. She greatly factors in flow of each space to yield a highly functional, most efficient use of each space. We have no regrets retaining Kitchen Village, Dorothy, and her team for both of our projects. I recently remodeled my kitchen and found Kitchen Village through my contractor. He suggested I take my plans to them as he does quite a bit of business with them.. I met Maggie upon my first visit and we instantly hit it off. She understood what I was trying to accomplish and was very patient with my numerous emails and questions.. she used a cabinet manufacturer that could help my ideas come to life. She made sure to come to my home for measuring and was in constant contact through the process.. lead times were about 6 months but no fault of anyone being it was during a pandemic. She was very communicative on how the delivery process would go and cabinets were delivered in impeccable condition from Canada. I can highly recommend Kitchen Village for your remodel ideas, needs and materials. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

I used Kitchen Village for kitchen, powder room, laundry & bar remodeling in '21 & master bath remodeling in '22. Have a 50yo home & did not want to move walls, etc. Linda at KV did an excellent job working with me to design both projects. She came up with designs that efficiently utilized what was previously wasted space. She also suggested some high value designs that made the rooms pop. I am the type that is always asking questions on alternatives and Linda would reply with cost estimates so I could decide if it was worth that expense to me. Their installation team was great at doing the work promptly with high expertise. Dealing with a 50yo home there are always a few unknowns until you do tear down. KV was great at coming up with solutions at a fair price. For the most part, both projects were delivered on budget except for some change orders. My next project with KV will be replacing the hallbath in '23. Highly recommend that you contact KV.

I am an architect that created the overall design concept for renovating our Kitchen and Dining Room. The project included opening up the two space to each other. That was the easy part. Making the concept work was the hard part. That’s where Dorothy Zalewski of Kitchen Village played a key role as a team member that made the project such a success. She and her company were very friendly, professional, and accommodating to our ideas. Dorothy’s constant attention to detail was wonderful, persistent, and made a world of difference. Dorothy made the final detailed design drawings, specified and furnished the cabinets, sink, faucet, quartz counter tops, and backsplash tile. They also installed the quartz counter tops and tile backsplash. The installers of the counter tops and backsplash each were meticulous and provided significant contributions to how everything came together. We have been excited and pleased with each of her decisions and design guidance. She also made practical suggestions during the renovation process that kept us out of various problems. We had hired Mike Burklin of Level Builders, Elk Grove, IL as our General Contractor who actually installed Kitchen Village’s cabinets. Mike was equally friendly, professional, accommodating, attentive to our concerns and very detailed with each and every aspect. No issue or detail was too small; everything had to be just right or Mike wasn’t satisfied. Mike and Dorothy had worked together previously and they worked so seamlessly on this project that one would think they worked for the same company. As an architect with over 4 decades of work on institutional projects for College and Universities, the success of any project depend on assembling a great team. I highly recommend Dorothy Zalewski and Kitchen Village to be part of any Kitchen Design Project Team.

Linda (our designer/consultant) was knowledgeable, helpful, worked with our budget, and stayed on top of the project every step of the way. Our kitchen looks bigger and brighter and we love it. I would definitely recommend Kitchen Village (and have) or use them again if the need arose.
