We recently completed a large custom home with Goldberg in Lincoln Park. They are exceptional builders with a great eye for detail. They were thoughtful and very respectful of the design and the client's budget. We look forward to working with them on future projects and recommend them highly.

Goldberg General Contracting is a top notch company all around. Excellent attention to detail and project management. GGC was very responsive to our needs and provided us with added value in advising us on matters initially outside the scope of our renovation. Excellent team of professionals on the job and totally trusted them. GGC was very easy to work with and made a lengthy and sometime tricky renovation run smoothly. We were very happy with the outcome of our project. Highly recommend considering GGC! We would definitely hire them again.

Goldberg General Contracting brings experience, honestly and professionalism to their projects. Jake Goldberg and his team built my own house. As an architect I have continued our work on other new home projects and renovations. I have every confidence recommending GGC.

A bearded guy (with a female next to him) was repeatedly honking as I tried (one motion) to back into a parking space. No, I didn't take over and over to park, I did it in one maneuver and moved into the spot. The aggressive driver wanted to make a traffic light, which he didn't because the car in front of me didn't make it either. After 3 loud horns behind me, he rolled down his window once I was parked to ask what was wrong with my lights (since he was stopped at the red after the car in front of me didn't run it). Nothing was wrong with my lights and there was a car in front of me. This guy then had to shamefully wait next to my parked car because the car in front wasn't as aggressive and childish as he was. The car and license are pictured here, if a dark bearded guy in this car is who you're doing business with, run! I know contractors and personalities like this you want FAR from your project. It's clear he's an overaggressive person with disregard for general traffic rules, and I would bet that disregard spills into his work. Would not recommend!
