Not recommen this place they're very rude just because I was on a call they told me that not going to take my order come back when you finish

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I’ve been waiting for six+ months for a 4 gang meter box (due to supply shortage). My electrician referred me to Gems. When they finally received a shipment I went to purchase the box which retails between $400-500 only to be told that I need to spend an additional $500 (so roughly $1k) in order to purchase the meter from them. I was at the Roseland location. The guy who serviced me was pretty rude and condescending about the whole matter. Insisting that I purchase electrical supplies that I DID NOT NEED and going on about customers purchasing the meters from them but the other materials from big box stores such as Home Depot. The whole experience was a disaster and I will never purchase anything from them again. GEM this practice is horrendous and I’d really expect more from a neighborhood business. I’ll also be writing the chamber of commerce.

Very helpful & nice. They had a item I needed that Lowes & Home Depot didn't. Grateful place for older electrical products.

Very knowledgeable staff, efficient, and very willing to suggest solutions. And they almost always have everything you need in stock. Worth the couple dollars more so you don't have to wander a big box store looking for someone to help you. Who in the end works in the paint department and has no clue what you're talking about.
