2 installations of backup gas powered generators: one at our residence and one at workplace. Very different experiences in each case. For the office, permits took longer, but installation was smooth and done efficiently. For our home, very different story. More complex install and technician quickly explained modifications needed to the original plan to make it work. No issues there. However, a few weeks post install we smelled gas around the house. After calling the utility company, learned that the installers had inadequately tightened pipes in 2 areas leading to leaks. This could have led to significant damage. Baker came out and fixed it eventually. Next, inspector determined that safety requirements had not been met so rework was needed and a breaker needed to be installed outside. Also, while testing (on my insistence), we uncovered that the refrigerator (one of the main equipment that we need backup power for) was not wired to this backup generator. That has also now been addressed and waiting for the next inspection to confirm. All in all, very low confidence in thus crew paying attention to detail which is an issue in this line of business.

Very professional from the office staff to the technician Ryan G. I had my Generac generator installed by another company, but was not happy with their service. Contacted Adams on a recommendation and they let me know that they were very busy due to the crazy weather we had this summer, but they would get to me as soon as possible, which they did. I even received a text when they were on their way to my home.I will be using them for my yearly service from now on.

My Generac generator failed in the middle of the night. I gave them a call in the morning approximately 9 AM and within two hours the service tech was here and had my unit up and running. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this company and the service tech! They did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend again.

During a power outage, our standby generator was running rough and surging. When I called my regular service tech to check my generator, he informed me that he was no longer in business! Baker Electric/Adams Power came highly recommended to me. I called them, and they were happy to take me on as a new client. Matt, the service tech, came out and could not have been nicer. He checked the generator and quickly found the issue. Matt ran the generator several times to make sure it was running smoothly and transferred properly. I am so grateful that Baker/Adams has taken me on as a new client and greatly appreciate Matt’s knowledge and experience to solve the issue. I give this business my highest recommendation.

Had a Generac Generator installed. Installation went smoothly. The techs were very thorough and detailed on the work involved even saved our plants in the process. Great crew. Definitely will use them in the future for my electrical needs.
