Very strange experience. They were very responsive with returning my initial phone call. I explained that I wanted an estimate. They said Al would reach out to me. He did and we set up an appt. I showed him the fencing I needed replaced. I told him I wanted an estimate for both sides and then another for each of the one sides individually. I told him I was not sure what kind of fence but to start out with you can quote a privacy one. I asked if I could do one side now and then in a few months do the other side and he said "not a problem." He did his measuring, but I am not even sure if he really did because I did not see him do it. There were a few times I had looked away for some reason so that may have been when he did it. Anyway, he said he would email me the quotes. He gave me a catalog of different types of fencing. He texted me after I asked where my quote was and proceeded to tell me it would be 6K for two sides of a fence. He then told me I can't just do one side, I have to do all of it or none of it. I then asked "You're telling me you can't do just one side of my fence?" That was four days ago. No reply. I would have like a few more estimates for different fencing. I think he needs to retire. He's 81 and a grouchy man.

All Types Fence

My fence was installed by All Type Fence Streator IL. in April of 2016 at a total cost of $4780.00. In June of 2017 this customer started to have trouble opening and closing the double gate in the back yard. The gate would not line up anymore causing the customer to have to lift the gate to get the latch to line up. In July of 2017 this customer contacted All Type Fence about the problem that was occurring. The Manager came out to the property to look at the gate. He stated he would have his crew come by and look at it the next time that they were in the area doing a job. This lead this customer to believe that his repair was not important to the business, and that it would simply be a warranty issue with workmanship that was done when the fence was installed. This customer was never given an estimate for repair on the gate. On Sept. 20th 2017 a work crew showed up without notice to look at the gate. The work crew advised this customer that the 4x6 post to the east side of the property was not plumb, and they would need to move it and add concrete. They never told this customer there would be any charge for the repair. The repair was done and the worker told this customer that the treated boards were also warping and they would need to be replaced soon. On Sept. 27 2017 this customer received a bill in the amount of $319.35 from All Type Fence for the repair. This customer called the company, and asked why there was a bill when this should have been coved under workmanship. The manager stated that this had to have been cause by a wind gust of someone hitting the fence. There has been no damage to any other part of the fence, nor has it been hit by anything. This customer believes this issue was due to poor workmanship by the businesses employees and not wind or damage or caused by abuse. The business has refused to respond to complaint resolution through the Better Business Bureau.

If you want someone professional DO NOT USE ALL TYPE FENCE!!!! This is one of the worst ran businesses I have ever ran into. I signed a contract with him and gave him half the money down and when the day came to put the fence in he blamed his wife for not turning in the permit. So we had to wait another week, then came a second excuse, and so on for a month. Then finialy he told me his mom died and he had to go to Florida. While he was putting his mom to rest in Florida, I see him driving down the street in his company truck!!!!! Dealing with him was like dealing with a teenager!! I never knew what I could believe from and what I couldn't!!! Do not use this company!!!!!!
