Our experience with Dorsey Excavating Inc could not have gone better. From initial contact (Dave) to project completion (Joe & Dylan) these boys know how to get it done in a friendly, skilled and professional way!
Dorsey came out and quoted my project. Their quote was 2x higher than others, but convinced me they knew what they were doing when we did the walk thru of the property so I was willing to pay it. I provided them the appropriate permits and approvals to do the job, but they felt the need to contact Hamilton county without telling me to verify what I already told them which was totally inappropriate. After they contacted Hamilton County, they realized the permits and inputs I gave them were valid. Despite my better judgment, I decided to still trust them given their history in excavating. When I went to provide them the contract and pay to get on their schedule they decided my job was not big enough for them and/or too difficult for them - got both explanations - and backed out of the quote. They completely wasted my time and showed a complete lack of respect. My recommendation find a company that will stand behind the quote and follow through on a commitment.

We have used Dorsey for several jobs, big and small, they are fantastic. When issues arose they were addressed quickly so that the job could continue and deadlines weren’t missed. I recommend them to friends and family and will use them again on future projects.

After the snowstorm of Feb.3rd. I. As homeowner do not appreciate that this company that was hired to remove snow from Calgary apostle building and decided to dump/block a private residence driveway which took them out of the way to do.
