Overall

Very prompt service call, and the men were very polite and informative. We have a Whirlpool oven; not over 2 years old that wasn’t preheating. Apparently is a problem for this type oven. The men guided me through getting an account with Whirlpool to get updates and that seems to have fixed the problem. My issue is actually more with Whirlpool and to some extent the store that sold us the oven.

I had a great experiance with A Step Above Appliance Repair. The staff is friendly and they communicate very well. I was informed with every step of the process to repair my Whirpool dryer. They made scheduling my appointment convenient, giving me a short time frame of arrival rather than having me block my whole morning or afternoon. They called again prior to the appointment to confirm the date and time. I then received a call the day of my appointment by Jake to let me know he was on his way. He was professional and friendly. He was able to repair my dryer enough for me to use it but had to order a part to repair it the way I wanted it. They communicated the entire time I was waiting for the part, not making me wonder when they would return. Thank you A Step Above Appliance Repair for your wonderful service!

Our dishwasher was making a strange beep at random times. We tried the DIY fixes from the internet with no success. Then it died. Service Man Jake diagnosed the problem as a failed control board. He found the correct service part and had it replaced in just under an hour. Very through and complete with testing. Saved a lot over a new dishwasher at over $1000. Jake has helped us before. He’s great!

Our electric dryer started making an unbearable squeak and a ticking noise. We called A Step Above and they were able to get us in quickly and were very nice on the phone. They kept us updated as to when the technician would arrive and he was right on time, no waiting half the day.
He knew very quickly what the issue was, explained what it would take to repair it and double checked to make sure we wanted to spend the money. Once he had the ok from us, he fixed the dryer quickly and it's now as good as new.
I would recommend everyone call here for ALL of your appliance repair needs.
