I had a fence installed and thought everything was great until the neighbor notified me that the fence was on their property. I gave Glidden the plot plan to measure where the fence needed to be and apparently they couldn't read it and put a stringline wherever they wanted. They were no help in getting it corrected of course since they said it wasn't their problem. This company is not very professional and has terrible customer service. I would think twice before using this company.

When I needed A lot of work done on my black wooden horse fence, a Glidden family member came out and assessed the needs. She walked around the whole property, tied pink ribbons on the many boards that needed to be replaced, and told me she would send an estimate. She never did. I called three times to check on it, but I never received a quote. I was very disappointed. If the job was too big it sound have been good customer service to let me know she didn’t want to do the job.

Very professional from start to finish. Everyone from quote to installion was extremely courteous, professional and had an eye for detail. The installation team really took great pride in the work they do, and it definitely shows! We love our new fence and we would definitely recommend Glidden to anyone looking to have one installed.

Like other other customers, we had difficulty with Glidden. The work crew was outstanding and did their jobs, professionally and competently. They were friendly and respectful. The office management has room for improvement. The work was not completed when I was told it would be, although they did manage to install the fence within the liberal time afforded by the contract. I was disappointed at several points in the process by the lack of communication and incorrect/missed time estimates. After several weeks, I called the office insisting to speak to the manager. When I finally got him on the phone to ask for an explanation, he berated me without provocation and continued shouting for some time, insisting that our job was unimportant and that I was addicted to rage. Quite an experience. At that point we had already paid for a large portion of the cost, so there was no turning back. Unfortunately, we were not the only ones with this experience. It's a shame, especially since the crew and office assistant were so kind and the fence does its job.

The customer service prior to installation was great. After installation I had some concerns regarding a scratched panel as well as the fact that they quoted me a price for one size of fence and installed less than what was quoted. Both times I have called, I've been treated very rudely. No one has come out to correct the scratched panel after a week and a half and two phone calls. I was also informed twice that it is not their policy to adjust their pricing even if they short you on the installation. I would not recommend this company.
