My husband and I partnered with Scott Hamele, and TrueGrit, to create our dream kitchen in the fall of 2022. We put down over $11,000 on September 23rd and were beyond excited to make our dream become a reality. Unfortunately, working with Scott and his team at TrueGrit was less than a dream. With our experience, we found Scott to be unreliable, unprofessional, and unethical. In addition, the quality of work he provided was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations, nor the expectations of the other contractors we used on this project. We are well over 6 months into our project and have paid over $18,000 (shame on us!). Our cabinet part of our kitchen remodel is still not complete, and we were recently told by Scott they will not finish the remaining few items, nor will they schedule an end of project walk-thru. We write this review in hopes that no one else has to go through what we went through with our kitchen project. We would never recommend Scott Hamele, TruGrit, or any other company that he is associated with.
