I worked with Shack Built for a display plinth for a public art work at the new KCI Airport. We mostly communicated remotely and they were prompt in replying to my inquiries and sending over structural designs. It was a several months long project because of my schedule but they met me at every step. They installed, prepped and finished the plinth so that I could go in and set the sculptures. Overall a great experience!
For 13 years we lived with the tiniest least functional kitchen. A dear friend recommended Shackbuilt to remodel it for us and it was not only a gorgeous result but a thoroughly pleasant experience. There was daily communication in regard to progress and the actually came in slightly ahead of schedule. We couldn’t be more happy and if remodeling your kitchen or bathroom is in your future contact them right away! They’re a wonderful team and we thank you very much Derrick, Cara and Scott

Shack Built LLC completed a renovation on our dining room, living room and piano room. Cara has a great eye and did a wonderful job of helping us find exactly what we wanted. Derick had great ideas for the project that we never would have thought of. The finished product far exceeded our expectations. Great communication! Great crew! Next up: the kitchen. I used Shack Built to finish my basement. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I've worked on commercial construction jobs many times, so I know my way around a project. I was extremely pleased with the whole process from my initial meeting with Derick, to the design help they worked with me on, to my foreman, Marty. They treated my home with respect while they were here. They were extremely communicative, from budget use, to the daily schedule. I knew what was going on every step of the way. I will definitely think of Shack Built for any future jobs I may have.

After researching and speaking with many contractors in the area, we decided to work with Shack Built on our basement finish. We chose them based on Derick's upfront and transparent initial conversations with us.
Working with Brett on a daily basis throughout the project provided us the ability to quickly address any issue that arose and make decisions promptly. Our concerns and questions were addressed as we went along appropriately. We had a few specific requests that the team was able to handle without an issue. Their flexibility and willingness to adapt to our requests made this large project go smoothly, on time, and on budget.
We really enjoyed working with Shack Built and look forward to the next project!
