Got as far as having someone come out to my house to see about getting an estimate before I got ghosted. The email I had been using to correspond to started returning errors that the address didn't exist. I called and left a message but never heard back. I was hoping for better from such a highly rated company. (I will say the guy that came out to see about an estimate, Austin, was very kind and helpful.)

We endearingly refer to this endeavor as "Project Oasis". For the better part of 10 years we have contemplated what to do and how to do it to make resort style living in our own backyard. We received multiple bids and just couldn't find the right concept or fit. What we needed was Ian, owner of Cliffy Care. We became very accustomed to Ian calling or texting to report on the plan for the day, sending design pics, etc. At no point in this process did we ever feel that we were being dismissed. We are particular people but know we are not experts in the field, this is where Cliffy Care shines above all others. Professionalism, integrity, work ethic, and down to earth humor - refreshing. We provided ideas and Ian would give suggestions and recommendations as well. It worked! Collaboration between home owner and company (back and forth). We were encouraged to not do a fireplace but a fitepit. Why? Trees to close and possible fire situation. Enough said, we want someone looking out for our safety and immediately changed. As for the work we had done with Cliffy Care, and their excellent subcontractors, here is a list: over 700 sq ft concrete pato with pavers, seating walls, custom firepit, custom kitchen with bar and pergola, rock instead of mulch, landscaping with new plants/trees and boulders, drainage issues addressed with burried water outlets and grading, entire sprinkler system reworked, trees trimmed, lighting added, new sod, and an enclosed underdeck shed. The team also spent extra time as need, what a whirlwind! Happy our project is complete but we will miss Ian and the dedicate, hardworking Cliffy Care team. Thank you!

I have not yet had the landscaping done but have it scheduled in a month. The communication, responsiveness, and design drafts have exceeded my expectations. I will update after the project is complete. Update: The crew has completed my landscaping and I couldn't be happier. They worked even when I was sure that the weather was going to derail their day. I can't express the gratitude I have for the wonderful work and stellar communication! It seems to be rare with so many other service businesses.
