My first pool that didn’t have to be put together by me! Everyone answered my questions thoroughly even though I asked several times in different ways and they were all very personable and helpful. They made the experience so easy. Thankfully after all my research I found the best place that fit my needs and was priced perfectly for what we wanted. Best Labor Day to date!

This is our first time (and hopefully last) building a pool. We researched many companies, visited a few other owners pools, etc… before deciding to go with blue haven. Ultimately what made up our mind is we wanted to be able to completely customize the design, add features, and Blue Haven is a nationwide company (with a local office) that warranties the actual structure against leaks for “life”. 2 reasons this review is getting a 4 - during the build process we had some communication problems and timeline changes that were unfortunate. However, we also had many moving parts at the time as we were building the house @ the same time…. And life happens - contractor disputes, work flow, health problems, life in general. Secondly, we NEVER received “pool school”, after doing my own reading and research I have learned to maintain the pool effectively (I think ?) lol. Kourtney & John were a great help in the office & with the design process. John was very patient working with our design to find exactly what we wanted. In the end we have a beautiful pool that has been such a blessing to our family and has created so many memories already! We have had a couple minor issues pop up after opening this year and I can honestly say that Blue Haven (and Kourtney) have been very responsive to handle them in a timely and fair manor. Overall it has been a wonderful first summer with our pool! And I do not regret building our pool w/blue haven.

This poor review is long overdue and prompted by having just completed a major overhaul to a Blue Haven Pool we had built 7/8 years ago- it began failing in year 2 and when the owner came out, he explained they knew these were known issues. I naturally asked if it would be covered under warranty then and he almost chuckled when he said 'it would not be covered under warranty, they just don't install like that now'. The sundeck/entry step continued to completely chip up, pool plaster continued to fail, we had several cracks (2 that proved to leak when we had them pressure tested) and the pool discolored throughout. The coping stones outlining the pool sounded hollow under them- as did the waterline tiles, indicating they weren't adhered well and began popping loose. A pool that should've lasted our family for years and was professionally maintained, had to be closed and a $27k overhaul had to be done. We learned a lot from the crew that repaired and rebuilt ours. They took the time to show and educate us on what caused our issues and how they could've been avoided if corners wouldn't had been cut during the build process. We highly discourage buyers from considering Blue Haven Pools. Unfortunately we learn sometimes too late, so we hope we can help others avoid the same mistake and choice we did. I had a pool built by bluehaven 2 years ago. The service during the planning and construction was excellent. The quality of the finished product is great. Would be 5 stars. I dont like that the equipment installed is proprietary to bluehaven and therefore replacement filters, UV bulbs, etc can not be purchased through local pool supply or amazon. The service through bluehaven has been prompt and professional.

I would NOT let this contractor build your pool. Besides the terrible materials used ie. flagstone pieces that fall off all the time. And the poor attitude of, Manny the owner, with horrible communication and taking an extra 3 months to finish the pool. Have someone else build your pool. You will be glad you did.
