Would leave negative stars if possible, put in a service call Saturday, worked out a time with the service tech that called after he complained about working on his house and letting me know that he would be on double time from the time he left his house until the time he got back then never showed up! No one called! I waited over an hour before the tech that I talked to would answer his phone and he let me know he wouldn't be answering the call

I needed three security lights replaced on my house. It was last minute. I called four other places no availability. The fourth place I called recommended DL Smith. Which I was surprised by that. So, I did and they had had an electrician available during the time frame I had available. He was 15 min early and done with all three lights in about 45 minutes. Excellent service and friendly electrician. Unsure of pricing they bill you. So, I will do an update when I get my bill. That was surprising also. I did not think any business did that anymore. Update pricing was excellent a good deal way better than the other services i have used. I am very pleased with their service.

I was looking for professional advice and quote for a unique light switch panel on equipment new to my business. When I called I was directed to Shane in the service department. I did not expect to get same day service; however, Shane was able to meet me at my business within 45 minutes. Shane was professional and exceptional at explaining what I was dealing with (rats nest of wires) and what I could do to improve parts, layout and wiring. He provided a detailed outline and instructions of what I can do to prep for the technicians so I can save time and money in some areas in order to spend more on what I am actually wanting to do with the panel. This was my first time needing an electrician and I panicked since it was Sunday. I wasn't sure if I could get service, and if I did I assumed it would take all day. However, DL Smith Electric was great! The lady that answered my call was very polite and the electrician (I don't remember his name, but he is the one that looks like Guy Fieri) was kind, fast, understandable, and explained everything we needed to know. We had melted wire issues connecting our breaker box to the meter reader and after a few short hours, the power was back on! Highly recommend!
