I recently had $10k patio and driveway work done that was unacceptable. Some reinforcing work was so sloppy that I had to make corrections before concrete was poured. A control joint was missed that allowed a crack to form 4 months later.. Opp’s response when contacted about the crack was to send me a copy of their ‘warranty’ letter and suggest that I caulk the crack! Their warranty states that “normal shrinkage cracks cannot be avoided.” That’s what properly installed control & expansion joints are for. They appear to count on that language as an excuse to avoid correcting any mistakes made during construction! Concrete work done for me by Opp 4 years ago was good….. I really expected them to be better than this. I can post pictures for anyone interested.

I hired Opp for a full replacement of my driveway and stairs. I felt they were reasonable on price and did the work quickly. However when you spend that kind of money you expect the work to be done correctly. Part of my sidewalk was pooling and holding water. After several calls and emails they finally agreed to replace that section. They disclosed the color could be slightly different. When they replaced it the crew used a much different texture pattern. A rough broom instead of smooth. I have reported this without an apology or offer to rectify. Update 8-8 -23 Dustin reached out to me today. He came to my house and looked at the problem area. He offered to replace it again to try to make it look better. Although he was confident he could do so I decided against it as i couldn’t be confident it would match. As a result of opp trying to correct it I have adjusted my overall review. Dustin was good to work with overall and we are on the whole pleased with the driveway overall.

The crew from OPP was fantastic! They exceeded our expectations in every way. The price was so affordable compared to what other companies quoted. The crew did have to use a skid steer to remove our old damaged portions of the driveway. This did cause about a 1ft patch of torn grass, however it is a small price to pay for how nice the drive and sidewalks look. From forming, levelness, edging, to the beautiful broom finish, their work was high level. Another company is in our area working at a different intersection. OPP accomplished all 5 of their jobs on our street in 3 work days. The other company isn't finished with one in the same time. The crew went above and beyond to do a partial repair on a sidewalk piece that they didn't even charge for. They also offered to let our kids put a hand print in one corner. That is a memory they will cherish for a lifetime. OPP is the way to go!
