We called them to come and service our AC unit that needed Freon when they came out and found out the unit was older they immediately started pushing for us to get a whole new system for $21,000. My husband said no we couldn’t do that right now to just get it up and going. They said it would be $3100.00 to put 10lbs of Freon in it! My husband said no way and they still charged us $200.00 for nothing! We called another AC. Company out .. it needed 3 lbs of Freon and they only charged us $240.00.. BTW Knochelmann we are having a whole new unit replaced in the fall but NOT by your company! I would NOT ever recommend this company for anything.

Gave Schneller a call after the company formerly known as Del Monde, whom my HVAC warranty is thru, told me it would be 2 weeks before they could come out to check why our AC was not blowing any cold air. Schneller said they would have someone out by EOD and Jeremy arrived within 2 hours of my call. Jeremy was super professional, courteous, and informative. He took the time to explain to me what he was checking for and making sure i understood what needed repair and why. Within 30 mins my AC was back to blowing cold air. They were even able to offer me a discount on the replacement part thanks to my 10 year warranty on the unit I was so pleased with my experience with Jeremy/Schneller that I signed up for the PMA semi-annual tune up program. The peace of mind of a professional coming out to perform routine checkups and maintenance, discounted parts, PLUS the free annual plumbing inspection are well worth the cost. I only hope that I can get Jeremy, or an equally impressive technician, at every checkup from here on out!

I do think there are some good qualities with this company. The work that I have had done has been fine. Expensive but the fix worked. I will say that this company really pushes the consumer to buy a yearly membership. Even the plumber is trying to sell a plan. I hate this. I want to talk to a plumber not a sales guy who is trying to push a completely different product on me. Additionally, we have gotten quotes on AC and a heater and the sales person felt condescending and used pushing techniques, (If you agree to put this in tomorrow, I will take off $1k). It just doesn't feel good, especially when I gather quotes and this is the most expensive by $3k. I just wished I knew their tactics before I wasted both of our days.

Schneller Knochelmann is not a name I can trust. I had them come out to diagnose why my AC wasn’t working. They determined at a minimum it was a blown breaker that would be “hard to find” and replace. I was quoted at 400+ dollars to get this fixed. I said no thanks and did some light searching to see how hard it would be in order to do it myself. A quick trip to Home Depot for a 20 dollar breaker and an hour later it was fixed. As a notice to all future customers I would get a second opinion at a minimum in order to do business with Schneller Knochelmann.

I ordered a/c furnace upgrade the crew that arrived was very professional and went straight to work. They explained step by step the process and answered all ?’s i had .The installation is working great! I’m very happy with the work done and performance of the a/c and furnace.I have had work done by this company before (water heater) and the job was excellent!

John Knochelmann came to our house and conducted a very thorough examination of our heating and air conditioning unit for replacement. We love the fact that he was honest and didn't try to talk us into upgrades and unnecessary equipment for our particular needs. He's very personable, knowledgeable and has the experience to know what he's talking about. We saw him on a Friday and our unit was installed the following Monday. On Monday Dave and Richard arrived for the installation of our new heating and A/C units. They were polite, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and professional. The entire replacement was very involved and took just over 12 hours. They just kept plugging away until the entire job was completed. We are very pleased with the install and we would highly recommend Schneller & Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning for your heating and cooling needs.
