My technician, Jordan, checked my inside and outdoor unit. He assured me that both were working fine. He was very thorough and never acted rushed. Very pleasant young man and never tried to up-sell with other products. I'm very happy with this company.

1 year ago I gave this company a 5 star rating. Today they came out to service the system due to it not running properly. The owner Jeff was the technician. He found a shorted wire from the main unit to the outside unit. He used an unused wire in the group and corrected the issue, we thought. At 4:00 pm I called the office to let them know the outside unit will not stop running when the inside unit is off. I was told the first available appointment was 12 -4 the next day. We tried to trouble shoot on our own. Once we found out no matter if you turn the system off, or unplug the thermostat it still runs, we called back. It went from bad to worse. Mind you I never raised my voice, but I was I was told they would not be back out and hung up on. When I called back, I got a different person. The conversation started out ok, but when I ask her to call a technician to see if unit would be damaged by running constantly, she refused, blamed us for not using the right thermostat and informed me again they were done with the situation. Mind you I have a warranty and extended service contract from them. The same thermostat was there when they installed the unit and nothing was said then. From here i will be contacting their manufacturer and others to find a remedy. After reading the response I feel I need to add more. After being denied service and repair from this company, I called another company at 4PM. They showed up at 6 pm and found the problem. Nicely had wired the system incorrectly and the heat pump was on constant run. After the new company wired it correctly, the system worked. The service tech stayed and made sure all systems were functioning properly. He also checked the thermostat and wiring and found absolutely nothing wrong with either.

Everyone at Niceley’s is lovely! I've had the pleasure of meeting Diana and her team in the community. This is a great family-owned business to support.

Gave a fair window for arrival and was able to get onsite earlier than I e pected. I had used them many years ago and was happy with the service. I was pleasantly surprised to see them still in business. The tech showed concern and knowledge with my unfortunate issue. He explained what next steps would be to resolve. I felt comfortable that I was getting an honest opinion and have recommended them to friends and family.

I had my condenser (I think) in my furnace to blow the cool air into my home fixed for a leak. First off, the two gentlemen were very nice. The one guy said he installed the furnace in 1986. He opened it up and asked me for a bucket. He then pulled apart this pipe which I thought was glued together. Let’s the water drain out as he blows through it to get the jam cleared. Asked me for a sharpie. Write a couple words on the pipe, puts a piece of tape on the pipe for what reason I cannot fathom. Puts the cover back on. Clicks a few buttons. Gives the bill and it’s $224 for 20 minutes of work. That comes to $672/hour for a simple leak. If you understood how simple this task was you would understand why I gave two stars. The price was WAY too high. The labor was $135 @ 20 minutes. The service call I can understand. There was zero parts involved. He just blew through a pipe and turned a screwdriver. He put a piece of electrical tape on the pvc pipe right in the middle. Still boggled on that one. But the two stars is for them being very polite and kind. Well, from watching them I did learn how to do it myself the next time it happens.

GE refrigerator repair - 4/22 tech came out and diagnosed the issue as an inlet valve. I was charged $167.39 for the part (it's $84.11 on GE's website) and a total of $284.34 labor. It took them 2 whole days just to *order* the part. It wasn't until 5/1 (9 days) that they actually showed up to install it. Was told to wait 24-36 hours and I should have ice. I didn't. Wrong part. 5/6 (another 5 days) tech came back out, said I needed a different part ($95.00 charge for the part that costs $77 on Amazon). Part was supposed to arrive on 5/9 and get installed on 5/10. Didn't happen. I was told they didn't get the part (that's another 4 days wasted). I complained to Bill that I could see the part on Amazon and I could get it the next day. Bill said that isn't where they get their parts and I need to stop using profanity. Bill hung up on me. I've spent $473.17, waited patiently for weeks and they're going to want $95 more for a $77 part. I've already waited 3 weeks and I'm being told they can't get here any sooner. (the part was on Amazon for NEXT DAY delivery!) This organization treats you as though you should feel privileged that they let you do business with them. Be prepared to pay through the nose and wait until they get around to you. No idea how they're still in business in the age of the internet.
