Rob really eased my mind with this being my first home purchase. He walked me through everything step by step and sent me my report with pictures that was easy to understand the same day as the inspection. He even let me come meet him at the inspection at the end and walked me through the house explaining where things turn on and off and sharing some knowledge with me about the house that made me feel more confident with my home purchase. "Before you buy, call NKI" is not just a company motto; it's a crucial piece of advice for any homebuyer. I learned this lesson the hard way when I hired a home inspector recommended by my real estate agency instead of going with NKI. In hindsight, even if NKI had been suggested, I might have chosen the cheaper option to keep my out of pocket expenses low. However, after facing undisclosed repairs totaling $60,000+ shortly after moving in, I realized the true value of a thorough and expert inspection. The slightly higher fee for NKI's services would have been a small price to pay compared to the legal costs, financial burden, and stress I faced due to the oversight of my original inspection company. The attorney retainer was far more than NKI’s home inspection fee! Rob Wells and the entire NKI team (Jake & Sean) have been a beacon of hope in this frustrating process. Their knowledge, patience, and fairness have been a stark contrast to my previous experience. Despite the ongoing journey to rectify the issues and ongoing litigation, I trust NKI implicitly to guide me through the rest of this process. I am grateful for their expertise and would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and thorough home inspection.
