Recently remodeled our entire kitchen. We were not really satisfied with the big box store offerings, and thought custom made cabinets would be too expensive. While searching, we discovered Amish Made Heirlooms. We talked with Abe and met him the next day in their Louisville showroom. No pressure - Abe is easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable, and helped in our decision making. We placed our order and less than 8 weeks later our beautiful cabinets were installed. The cabinet quality exceeds all of our expectations. From the cinnamon finish, to the soft close doors and drawers, and the bottom slide out drawer in the base cabinets. No more getting down on the floor to reach something in the back of the bottom shelf. And the cabinet doors have quick release for removal. The cabinets are quality solid wood construction, and the hardware is sturdy/well made. Pricing was about 15% more than the best big box store offering, but the quality and attention to detail is beyond comparison. Quality and value, we are totally satisfied with our cabinets and would not hesitate to do business with Abe again.
Amish Hills built and installed, a book unit at Keneseth Israel Synagogue. I am thrilled with the quality of the finished product, as are the congregants. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with and the installers were great!

They made custom cabinets for us this year from walnut. We had a few specific preferences, and Abe made it happen! He was great to work with and communicate with. I feel like they were very generous on the price of certain features too. The day they brought the cabinets to install, I was in awe. They looked even better than I imagined! We are so happy we found them. They are definitely a local business that’s worth your investment.

Outstanding! Abe is a true craftsman! We recently moved to our forever home and needed to update our kitchen. We, also, looked online for cabinetry/installation and found Amish Made Heirlooms website. Upon reviewing Abe's website, we were very impressed with the beauty of his work. Contacted him and he came by and listened to our wants & needs and right there designed our kitchen. Just had Abe and Norm here, they installed our new kitchen cabinets and island and we are beyond pleased. Beautiful, softened green painted over Maple with a Hickory island, just beautiful and installed to perfection.. we are truly happy with our experience with Abe and his quality cabinets. If you don't have Abe do your cabinets, you will never experience what a great craftsman is and you will never get the great service that we all received! Many thanks for our beautiful kitchen!

We worked with Abe to replace our old cabinets with new ones this past spring/ summer and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Abe is friendly and thoughtful, basically a joy to work with!! He gave us wonderful advice about how to design the kitchen and walked us through MULTIPLE design options until we found the best one for us. He really understands functional kitchen design and can make cabinets to fit ANYTHING you want. Abe takes tremendous pride in his work and is dedicated to making his customers happy. He is a busy guy, so when he calls, make sure you pick up!

Abe was great to work, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. His workmanship is extremely high quality. Abe designed my kitchen, dining room and bathroom cabinets. Mark made all my coordinating countertops and they look amazing. The cabinet install was very challenging for him, due to the uneven nature of my kitchen floor - but he was able to install and level all cabinets!

Abe Knepp was our designer and cabinetmaker. Although we thought we knew what we wanted, he made several suggestions for the layout that turned our to be just exactly what we needed. The cabinets are beautiful, very well-constructed and I expect them to last a very long time. He was able to perfectly match the color and grain of an existing buffet so everything looks like it was built at the same time. Abe's crew was very professional and friendly. The paint job, electrical, plumbing and appliance installation were flawless. The entire remodel ran a bit more than other estimates, but was well worth the difference in quality and we love our new kitchen!
