DO NOT use this company!!!! They were the vendor of choice for my contractor for many years. 2 years ago they misquoted me by over $2000 and didn’t ask for or inform me of the overage until several weeks after my counters were installed. Their reaction was basically ‘oops’. I paid them and was offered a substantial discount, $800, to use in the future. Guess what, the future arrived and they would not honor their offer. I am working with the same contractor on another project, so this time I went directly to this company met with their rep, picked stone, got a very clear price, paid a deposit, and left happy. When fabrication time came they had sold my piece to someone else, but their words were that they just couldn’t find it. They asked me for a picture to help them, in other words they didn’t even write it down in their records. They gave zero apologies, set me up with another rep who was very nice and very new and basically just walked around with me. I found another piece and left happy, only to find a week later they cut it wrong. Zero apologies offered, the rep wouldn’t even come outside. When I went inside to look at samples her only words were, well this sucks. Prior to this third error, I actually made several calls to provide specs, ask questions, but not a single phone call was ever returned. My contractor was left holding the bag for multiple errors that were NOT his fault. Their remnant yard is littered with counters with brand new sinks, pmistake after mistake after mistake. They don’t communicate, they don’t apologize, and they really just do not care. I’m several weeks behind on completion because of their failure to perform one job well. Mistakes happen, human errors happen, apologizing and offering to help is a choice. They did neither. Be warned.

Unfortunately, My experience has not been a good one. The first day the installers came the backsplash was cut incorrectly. Additionally, the installers knocked large chunks out of my drywall. They left a glue like residue on the quartz as well. I sent pictures to Solid Concepts with no response on a solution. They did not offer to fix the issue, but the installer mentioned this is normal. I would recommend having a drywall expert on call when working with Solid Concepts.

My wife and I bought a "fixer upper" 2 years ago and have been repeat customers of Solid Concepts through multiple projects. We have purchased stone for a kitchen island, our master bath, and a vanity in one of our spare bedroom's. Every interaction was pleasant and I can 100% say that this company is committed to customer service. They show up when they say they will to measure, are professional and ask detailed questions as well as make suggestions/recommendations based on their expertise, and the turnaround after measurement is very fast. We had one small problem with our bathroom countertop which had a defect on the front edge. We took a picture and sent it to Becky. She immediately apologized, told us that it was not up to their standards, and had a replacement out and installed the next day! I was beginning to think that there weren't any companies like this any more. The customer service is so good that I would absolutely pay more but didn't have to because their prices are very reasonable....I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stone countertops! A truly rate find these days!

From the outset all went very good with dealing with this company. The staff was very helpful in helping us select the quartz countertop, patterns, etc. The technicians were very skilled in laying out the countertops and the installation was flawless. Particularly so on the seams. And, an added compliment to the total staff in particularly the installation crew who were professional, polite, and very thorough. I rate this construction experience very high - job well done.

Repeat customer. First was a kitchen counter top for new construction. Beautiful white quartz with light grey veins. I was so pleased with the experience and product I had them do a custom vanity top for the bathroom: an off-white quartz with light brown veins. For both jobs, after picking out the color and sinks I wanted in their showroom, they came out to measure within days and I had new counter tops about a week after that. A bit out of the way for Louisvillians, but very worth it for the cost, service, and overall experience.
