STAY AWAY !!!!! I know things are backed up because of all the recent events BECAUSE IM DEALING WITH TONS OF BUSINESS RIGHT NOW SO I KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! But this place was absolutely the WORST to deal with and all we bought was 2 French doors !!! Myself and my contractor specifically was looking for a door WITH BLINDS, they told both my contractor and I separately it was a regularly stocked insert and had it. When they came to take measurements I noticed he didn’t have the blinds in the quote, he said it could be added no problem.. That should have been my warning ! AFTER getting my full payment they changed my expected order date from 2 weeks to 3 because they DIDN’T have the blinds. 3 weeks arrived, because it’s a regular item it wasn’t special ordered another week (that causing me to then have to push things back). Doors finally delivered, NO TRIM for the door. Took an additional WEEK and a HALF to get that but of course they only had NONPRIMED wood. We primed it my contractor is here to finish his job MORE TRIM IS MISSING THEY STILL FAILED TO DELIVER ALL ITEMS !!!! We spent almost 3 thousand dollars on 2 sets of French doors, this was by far and not to mention NOBODY there is any help and every piece of information had to be draggged out of these people as if I wasn’t a paying customer!
I have a $20k budget for windows and these jokers won't return my calls. When 2008 happens again and building slows to a crawl, I will shed no tears for businesses like this. This Jimmie McMahon dude's voice mail box is even full. When I finally got through to him he said he wasn't answering my calls because I have a Florida area code. After I wasted my time providing him with the ROs and all the other relevant specs, he ghosted me. These jokers don't value my time so they get a bad review. If you don't want to sell me the windows give me the courtesy of phone call to explain why.

TL;DR: Overall, I’m extremely disappointed in the poor quality of their product and lack of customer service.
We bought a Dutch door from Jefferson Door about 1.5 years ago. Unfortunately, the door has started to split in the middle and the bolt barrel broke off, rendering the door useless. I emailed Jefferson Door to explain the situation. Someone named Sean called me back. He was incredibly rude and condescending, and had made up his mind about my service call before even letting me speak. He was insistent that the damage was caused by “abuse.” In this case, the abuse being that we were pulling on the door without turning the knob (I don’t see how this is plausible given that we know how the door operates as it is in our house), which caused the barrel bolt to split the door. I tried to explain why this doesn’t seem plausible, and also why it shouldn’t affect the door even if it did happen (the door wouldn’t move as the latch would be in the strike plate hole); however, Sean had no interest in listening to me, and our conversation ended abruptly. As an adult human, I’ve been operating doors for quite some time and understand how they work, but somehow in this case Sean/Jefferson Door arbitrarily decided this was abuse/user error and refuse to offer any type of remedy.

I have worked with Colin and Chris on a number of projects. Jefferson Door offers the best quality and value hands down! They are a New Orleans architectural staple and I would highly recommend them to any client, architect or contractor.

Order came two weeks later than promised. Had to keep calling to get a status which was never correct. Had to cancel installation guy twice.

I purchased a Fiberglass Door With 3/4 glass from Jefferson Door Co, the customer service was excellent, door was delivered on time, they even sent out extra trim in case I needed a wider moulding. I will definitely buy any door I ever need from them. Their price was so good for a quality door. Looks great!

I ordered 2 doors at over $2000. They charged me 3% on a deposit I made with a debit card over the phone. After placing the order it took them over a week to make the delivery and when they did they messed up the order and only brought one door. The driver told me that it shouldn't be a problem getting the other door delivered in a couple of days, by the end of the week, but when I called they told me it would take another week to deliver the door. A week has come and gone and still no door.
I bought these overpriced things because my wife wanted them, but I'll never buy anything from them again. And I wouldn't recommend Jefferson Door to anybody.
