Steve at Landscape Depot is very knowledgeable and helpful. He quickly identified the specific rose bush in my yard and sold me the exact same plant so I could extend my flower bed. Landscape Depot’s red Cyprus mulch is the best I've found in Baton Rouge. Highly recommend

I do not recommend nor will I purchase from Landscape Depot due to the poor service, waste of time, and financial impact that it has caused myself and my client. Come to find out, the owner, Steve, was advised by his buddy that the yard was not ready for the sod to be delivered even after I had already purchased it with the promise date/time of delivery. They do business often but this incident ended up costing my client an additional $1035. Landscape Depot, didn’t deliver the sod until 3 days later in which I had to help with the delivery since Steve stated that his driver couldn’t make it to the site. This is after charging a $395 delivery fee and no refund or partial refund at that. The 9 pallets of sod made it to the site with the help of my truck and trailer, Steve did bring half of it. Then, we had to off load 9 pallets by hand because Steve didn’t have the forklift as stated when the sod was purchased.
Take your business elsewhere.

Glad Landscape Depot moved to Praireville just south of Hwy 42 on Airline. Steve has extensive knowledge with respect to all of our sod and landscaping needs.

I love this place! I’ve been here a couple of times for some minor landscape supplies, and have always been helped out tremendously by Mr. Steve. Great customer service, above and beyond what you get at most places. And they generally have whatever you need in terms of dirt or rock.

We had an RV sitting in my yard while we remodeled our home to get ready to sell. When we finally were in a position to move it, the ground underneath was a mud pit. We tried growing grass, but with all the rain and birds, nothing was happening. Finally we called around for sod, and landscape depot was the best deal. Very friendly staff, they helped us load it into our truck and when I mismeasured and needed more last minute, he made sure to help me out. I love that they sell sod individually, unlike most places that only sell by the pallet. The pieces were great quality and blended well with the established grass. The yard looks great!
