Very happy with our Generac and with Wheeler. The installation was prompt and professional. We were so pleased we bought one for our daughter's home. I recommend Wheeler Generators.
After waiting 3 months on a part, I assume now that it was never actually ordered. After multiple calls to the service department with the same condescending answer, “I’ll call you when it’s in,” I had to switch to a different company to get the generator worked on. Wheeler didn’t originally install my generator and if they had no interest in servicing it for me, they should have just said that from the beginning instead of leaving me waiting for 3 months.

We used this company in 2021 and our previous home owners used them prior to us. This company uses a call center for their receptionist. Was told by the call center that they would have someone call me to schedule service they could not do so. Called two times on a Monday did have my call returned both times from the original time I called. After that never received any other phone calls then called again on a Wednesday. The receptionist told me that they were only receptionist and that they could only refer my message they could not schedule any type of service. I let them know that it was frustrating and that if this is how they will handle service contracts we would probably go somewhere else I would like to hear from someone by the end of the day.
Finally I received a call back from a cell number that I could actually call back and speak to. I was then told that a Daniel would call me the next day to schedule service. I never received another call from that person on Thursday.
Called back today, Friday, to let them know we would be going in another direction that the owner should definitely know how things are running. I told him I would leave a review so the owner would hopefully see it and address it accordingly. Once I finally talked to someone again on Friday they were explaining to me that people that already had service contracts got taken care of first, which I understand, but the whole time I am just trying to talk to someone in scheduling to schedule a service time to have my generator serviced.
Literally told the guy I'm asking y'all to take my money to service my generator and put me on a service contract. He still continued to make excuses and lied and said that Daniel called me on Thursday twice and that I never answered. My phone does not filter spam calls and no voicemail was ever left. Originally on Monday and again on Wednesday all time they called me they left voicemails. So I don't believe that Daniel ever called me.
Good luck to anybody that uses this company to service their generator.

Installation of our Briggs and Stratton whole house generator was fast and professional. Last night was our first time to lose power since the Installation. The generator came right on and ran until the power was restored. We are so pleased. Thank you.

Bought whole house generator from these people. Installed quickly and professionally. 2020 was very busy storm season with area directly hit by 2 hurricanes, tropical depression and severe cold front. Generator provided power for all our needs. When problem developed with unit Wheeler techs responded, and diagnosed problem. They removed unit while we were away for family member funeral and rebuilt entire unit at no cost to us! Bravo Wheeler Generators! Highly recommended and you will cherish the investment made come next power outage.
Update
The annual maintenance fee is worth every penny. The fee covers not only routine maintenance but also most all emergency repair costs. It again saved us a bundle when generator battery failed to start last outage. Thanks again! Great service!
