We were looking for a railing for some outdoor stairs and a fence place in Northampton suggested we try Amherst welding. Very very happy with our railing and the service. Would recommend and will use again for railings and this sort of metal fixture. Thanks!

My '12 Impreza Wagon flunked inspection. The choice? Aftermarket exhaust system for $2300 or a date with Tyler's welding torch for 5% the price. Not 5% off. Five per-cent. The math here is as straightforward as the endorsement. This repair was an act of grace. I give Amherst Welding a 50 out of 5. (You do the math;>)

I took my 06 Toyota Tundra in. They quoted me $400 for a repair of some rust on the frame. I asked if they could look at the trailer hitch, which I had been told should not be used. They said they could remove it at the same time. They did it all in a day for less than $350! I couldn’t happier with their work. They did this in December.

Great guys! My exhaust pipe broke and a local mechanic quoted me $1500 for a dozen parts including a new catalytic converter and muffler, claiming the pipe was "unweldable". These guys took it right in same day and had it done in $60 and 40 minutes! Very glad I came here :)

My wife and I have gone to Amherst Welding many times over the last 10 years since we moved here. They have always been over-the-top splendid! They are extremely creative, patient, friendly and competent. They have repaired our camper several times for random problems like; reconstructing a coach battery slide, correcting a mis- wired coach battery, fixing a broken hinge. They also discovered a cracked frame damaged by rust- they made a new one. We would have paid much more at the RV repair shop where they’d have had to order new parts. They also have made us a bird feeder pole, crafted a handle to tighten a loom, and under coated our cars in winter. When we’re in a rush they’ve often been able to squeeze us in quickly. We highly recommend them all.
