Overall

I had an issue with a broken garage door spring. I left a message and Chris called me back with a half hour. I gave him some information and a repair person came same day and replaced the springs and serviced my door. The invoice for the work was very reasonable. Great experience!

I just had a brand new garage door installed. They did an awesome job! Matt was really helpful and did a great job cleaning up the space.

I ran into an issue with the door on Sunday. I called and left a message. They called me back on Sunday and walked me through the problem. I was able to resolve the issue which happened to be operator error.

I am very pleased with this company!

Chris (the owner) runs a very professional business and is incredibly knowledgeable about garage doors. Over the years, he has installed a new garage door and repaired another one twice at my home. He is always very helpful, efficient and does awesome work! His employee Matt was just here for another repair on my 30 year old garage door and did an amazing job. It's honestly a pleasure dealing with both of them and they always solve my issues quickly and correctly. Thanks Chris and Matt!

I couldn’t ask for better service. My garage door was malfunctioning and I had no way to get to my car. I called a lock smith and sears (where I purchased the door) and they weren’t helpful. I called North Shore Overhead Door and they came within 2 hours to get my door open so I could get my car out. Then they came the next day to completely fix the door. I highly recommend.

Chris at North Shore just spent a bunch of time helping me fix my own garage door problem at no cost.

You see, North Shore door installed my garage door 20 years ago. It's worked wonderfully until last week when the keypad, clicker and car transmitters all stopped working. I figured for sure something sizable was wrong and that it must be time for a new garage door. So I made the call to North Shore Door to schedule a visit.

When I called North Shore and explained my problem, Chris didn't tell me he'd be right out to check it out. Instead he spent 20 minutes on the phone walking me through what I could do to fix the problem myself. He even sent me a picture via text to guide me through the process. Game on. So I started working. A bit into it, I texted him during a super frustrating step and shortly thereafter followed it up with another text letting him know I got through that step. Much to my surprise, he CALLED me to check in and make sure I wasn't stuck again. Thankfully his timing was great and the tips he gave me when he called helped me figure out the next piece and get the door working super fast.

With Chris' help, my garage door opener is back in business. All at NO cost to me and only with his help and support. Because as he said, "It's a good door opener and you'd hate to replace it or pay to have me come out and fix it if you can get it working on your own".

When I do need another garage door, I sure as heck will get getting it from North Shore Door.

I recently moved into a new home and had some issues with my garage door. I happened to see Chris' information on the opener - so I called. His service level and attention to detail was amazing. Instead of coming out to the property, he spent several times with me on the phone talking me through how to fix my problem - step by step - and it was that simple. I followed his direct instructions and my problem is solved . He could have easily setup two service calls costing me hundreds of dollars. If you're looking for a garage door professional, I wouldn't hesitate to call.
