David, Marcio, Andreina, Dayna, and the rest of the Bay State team did a fantastic job getting our home in Newton ready on time for our family to move into. Sub-contractors Jonathan (electrical) and David (plumbing) were also great to work with.
We were working with a tight deadline, and our friends and neighbors were amazed by how much they did so quickly and well. Our project included removing a defunct chimney from roof through garage, removing a load bearing wall and building requisite structural support, gutting the kitchen and dining areas, adding a bathroom, removing radiator heat and adding central air, upgrading electrical including adding an EV charger, and a ton of small improvements we added along the way.
They also did a great job following up with any adjustments we needed post-move. We are so happy with Bay State and plan to use them again on future projects!
I've also included some pictures of the original kitchen and dining area to help get a sense for how much they changed.
We were so happy with how our project turned out from Bay State Remodeling! From the design to the final product, they really made our dream kitchen come to life. We fully renovated our kitchen to create a more modern look and open the ground floor layout, which before was outdated. The project team included Dayna, Marcio, Jaime and Andreina; they were so professional, communicative, and helpful along the way. Throughout each step of the project, they kept us updated on progress, scheduling of different vendors, and made decision making easier as the project unfolded. They were organized, professional and the complete gut / renovation was completed in less time than we had anticipated and ensured that they project was completed in the best way it could be. We recently used Bay State Remodeling for the second time to help us remodel our 2nd floor bathroom in Brighton, MA. We knew we were in good hands with Marcio, Dayna, Jaime and Andreina to update our bathroom and get the project finished on time. When working with Bay State, they do a great job of taking care of all of the logistics so the project runs as smoothly as possible. Anytime we had a question or concern it was addressed right away by the team. We are very happy with our bathroom and would recommend Bay State to anyone looking for a reliable, full-service remodeling company!

This was our second time working with Bay State and we were just as impressed as the first time. We expanded our kitchen and they made the process extremely easy and seamless -something very rare when describing home renovations! They were very attentive and worked with us closely to give us design ideas, provide mock-ups so we could easily visualize options, and follow up to make sure each step was done to our liking. Everyone they sent to the house was professional and friendly, and we have found ourselves recommending them to anyone who inquires about our beautiful kitchen! I wouldn't hesitate to work with them in the future.

This was our third project with Bay State (complete kitchen remodel). It would be hard to overstate how great they are to work with. So professional, knowledgable, organized, and caring with details. The project was 100% on time (2 months), and at the budget we expected. I appreciated how invested they were with the outcome being perfect, and not just the bare minimum to get the job done. Would 100% recommend them or work with them again.
A few people in particular: Andreina was always on top of the schedule and details and great communication; Marcio, great eye and good advice on the finishing design touches; Jose, very efficient with the initial stages of demo etc and made sure everything else in our house was carefully moved and covered; Ray and David, great advice at the beginning; Dayna and Sabrina, very helpful with design/sourcing. And all the subs were also fantastic, great at what they did and professional/communicative. Thank you!

Recently had our bath tub repainted by Baystate remodeling as the tub had worn and missing paint when we moved in. It looks great now! Extremely high quality work and a great result for a reasonable rate! Looking forward to more home improvements with them in the future!

Navigating a complete gut kitchen renovation can be a daunting task, especially after a disastrous experience with another contractor during the pandemic. Having previously worked with Bay State Remodeling, my expectations were cautiously optimistic. They quickly reaffirmed their exceptional expertise and professionalism as they not only transformed my kitchen, but also swiftly remedied issues caused by the previous contractor.
The Bay State team exhibited an unwavering commitment to excellence from the outset. I was delighted to have both David and Marcio manage my renovation once again. David is always accessible and willing to answer any questions. The quality of Marcio's work is truly top-notch, and he pays incredible attention to detail. It was clear that customer satisfaction was his utmost priority, as he listened carefully to my ideas and ensured that everything was done well. As with all renovations, unforeseen challenges were to be expected. Andreina’s dedication on the operations side to address these challenges added a layer of reassurance.

Bay State Refinishing, re glazed our bathtub in 2012 and except for a couple of small areas we could have gone a bit longer before having it re glazed again. However, we felt the tub needed refreshing, so today, 1-11-2023, they re glazed our tub again. The technician was efficient, courteous and careful to protect all surrounding areas in our home. At the present time the product is in the drying period and we will not be able to use it for 48 hours but we wanted to send an acknowledgment that we are completely satisfied with the work performed by Bay State.

Bay State did an excellent job with a difficult remodeling project in our basement that entailed installing a new bathroom in an unfinished space, relocation/replacement of our HVAC system, and upgrade of our electrical system. We particularly appreciated the entire team’s professionalism and responsiveness. We worked with Ray and Sab in the estimate/design phase and then David, Andreina, Marcio, and Jose on project execution. Would definitely recommend their services.
