OMG! My tree guy left the state. No one is interested in coming to Somerville to work on trees because one cut on a tree prompts a candlelight vigil. I called Edgar & Sons. They came by on a Saturday morning to give an estimate. The price was great and they fit me in the following Monday! The lot is small, the tree is at least 30 feet high and it was almost 100 degrees out. They cut large branches that were resting on my roof, chipped and cleaned everything better than when they arrived! Squirrels are no longer partying on my house. I am thrilled with the results and will spread the word to everyone I know.

Edgar and his team were amazing! We received multiple quotes to remove and grind a massive tree and Edgar gave us a fair price. He made us feel comfortable with his plan for removing it and assured us that he had the experience. This was no small project considering the tree was not your average sized "big" tree and it was between two homes which could have easily been damaged. Edgar's team arrived on time and finished on time. I will absolutely use them again and I recommend them to anyone with free removal or landscaping needs.

We had a great experience working with Edgar and Sons. Their quote was very fair and competitive compared to others. They were also able to schedule our project within a week of their initial quote; they worked around our schedule. We had 2 large mature oaks and 1 massive pine that they removed expertly with no issues. Also ground down 4 stumps. The trees were close to the street, other houses/cars, and power lines, making for a very difficult job. The crew navigated everything with precision and all the right machinery and tools. They hauled everything away and cleaned up the same day. Last, this is truly a family business and (corny though it may be) it was refreshing to see brothers working alongside their father; and doing it with smiles. I’ll be recommending Edgar and Sons to anyone looking for tree work in the future.
