I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with HKF Construction. We renovated the entire upper floor of our home (renovation in late winter-early spring 2023, home was built in 1886 and was practically a gut job), and the project remained on time and on budget. All the teams involved in the work were professional, personable, arrived when they said they would, and had prompt communication. Hayce listened to our lists of "must haves", helped optimize and make suggestions to our floor plan to make the best use of space, and considered the age and style of our home to ensure the renovation seamlessly fit in with the rest of the house. She cared for our home and project with an unparalleled attention to detail, making it feel like the project was her own home as well. I can't wait to hire HKF Construction for future work on the house!

We hired HKF to rebuild our second floor walk-out porch after having found that the porch was crumbling and falling off of the house. The main support posts were rotten and the deck needed a full rebuild. We first met with 3 or 4 contractors, including HKF, and were very surprised at the range in costs for the project. HKF quoted us around 1/3 of the cost of the next lowest quote and this work included extending the deck nearly 6’ further than where the original footprint was, meaning we ended up with almost 2x the size of our deck for less than what other contractors were quoting us to just simply rebuild it in place. Throughout the entire process, from planning and evaluating different options, designing the new deck, and the actual execution of the project HKF was communicative, straightforward, honest, and effective. There were some minor delays during our construction but these were largely due to materials sourcing, supply chain limitations, and scheduling of the building inspector. We are so thrilled with the final product and have been enjoying our outdoor space to the fullest. The deck is beautiful and spacious, and HKF really made sure the finished product was complete and polished. I would 100% go with HKF for this project again, I feel confident that I made the right decision and am so happy with how it turned out. I can’t wait to spend more time out there!

I worked with Hayce and her crew on another home improvement project. I want to update my below review to again say that they were incredible from start to finish! We asked Hayce if she could help us build a small front porch to attach to our enclosed front porch. As with any project, unexpected things happen. If something came up and we needed to change our plan or if there was a detail that I wanted to be adjusted, Hayce never hesitated to make us happy. For example, one of our new deck boards arrived with a small gash that was hard to notice. When the stair board had already been installed, I eventually noticed it and asked Hayce if they could replace the board. Without hesitation, Hayce said of course, and the next time they arrived to finish up the project, the floorboard was replaced no problem. Little things like this that make a huge difference. Hayce and her crew know how to build trust. I trust Hayce and her team with any project and will continue to ask HKF to improve our home. What I also love about working with Hayce is her accessibility. I never feel like I am bothering her when I message her and ask her questions. She always makes us feel like a priority (which is hard to do when you have so many clients). My porch project was a very positive experience. HKF does amazing work! And her prices are always fair. Attached are before and after photos of the porch. Thank you again HKF Construction! Previous Review: Working with Hayce and her crew has been a breath of fresh air. HKF Construction is by far the most professional, reliable, timely, and talented contractors in the Greater Boston area and beyond. When they say they are going to show up, they show up. When they say they are going to call, they call. If you have questions, they are reachable, and they answer your questions. Hayce goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy with the work, and she and her crew are very efficient. They finished our bathroom project faster than what they initially estimated, and I am so impressed by the quality of the work. Hayce really cares about customer opinion and making sure the job is done right and to customer satisfaction. There is no need to look further. Hiring HFK Construction to do any project, big or small, is the best decision you'll make. I will absolutely hire Hayce and crew for all of our future projects. Thank you for our beautiful tub work!
